Ha, you think car brokers are dodgy! try aircraft brokers.... If you are going to fly less than 200-250 hours annually, don't even consider owning or leasing - join a group or flying club. I have a Cessna that only does 100-150 hours pa - the only way it makes sense is that it's a tax deduction for the business, which is in aviation, funnily enough. Single engine VFR aircraft are not a serious means of transport - single (piston) engine IFR is like pointing a gun at your own head. Multi engine ratings are a long way from "ain't hard"....
