Duesy just went for $1mil. lot 1311. craig jackson is pleading the case. No one else is stepping up though.
Jim G - what are your thoughts on the Deusenberg? I thought it would go higher but I really know just about nothing about that market and also about that particular car.
Most of these car just aren't hitting their expected unrealistic numbers, I wonder if Keith Martin is enjoying this?
Thats the first time I actually agreed with craig jackson. That Dues going for 1 mil was theft. And whenever they stall to try and get more money out of bidders it just makes me cringe. It is just so ridiculously annoying.
They nixed the original boat deal... wonder why and redid the bids.... When is the new ZR1 coming up?
They probably screwed up on the who the high bidder was and couldn't find the high bidder. Hell I don't know but they have had a few screw ups since I have been watching.
Not body that originally came on the car . Price was right. If it was original body it would be worth 1.6. If it was more unusual original body 2.5-3.5.
I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I cannot even imagine working bidders in such a large area with so much noise and commotion. I agree with Napolis that the Rondine was a bargain; a positively stunning car IMO. If I had the money, I'd throw $2000000 at the Rondine before I'd spend $20 on that stupid Robosaurus or Miami Vice Setup. And I don't know about anyone else, but I find autographs on cars to be a major turnoff. Do these buyers truly feel such a car is worth $XXX more because Shelby scribbled on it?
new ZR1 on the block. cool car...ugly hood opening Why didn't Dodge do this very thing with the 08 ACR. Dummies.
