As nothing is confirmed here, or on the 'coffee with Pap' thread, how about another idea or two: 1. Knock off on good time Friday evening and meet out around Kilsyth or Chirnside Park at around 6.30pm. Head out for a drive through the Yarra Valley and on through the Spur to Buxton or Taggarty for a counter tea in the local pub. Wander back home at your leisure. There is plenty of light till 8.30 so Pap and Nic will geta good look at some scenery. 355 can pick them up from their hotel and then we can swap seats in a few cars en route. 2. The other option is an early start on Saturday and meet in Kilsyth like last time. Breakfast in Marysville after exiting the spur and then wind back to the Airport via Buxton. Pap departs at 11.35 so would need to be at the Airport by 10.45 ish. There wont be any traffic around at that time on a Saturday so the drive trhrough the Spur will be great. Any interest on either of these two options?
yep both options good el robbo......fri evening may be a bit clogged traffic wise though? people getting away for the long W/E? have done fri evening spur runs a few times en route to the bush and it = boats and caravans... imo crack o dawn saturday is the ticket, but easy either way
