OK, This is it, the final vote for our 355 friends name. It looks as if your choices for the two finalist's for the new 355 name are: Scuderia 355 with 48 total votes and Fratelli 355 with 26 votes. (Link To 355 Registry) http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123485 Here are the rules: 1.) The voting is only open to 355 confirmed owners. It's only fair since it's their name. 2.) The poll will be of the 'Open Poll' variety. What this means is that rather than the blind poll that is usually used the voters user name will be visible to all, that way the voter can be confirmed as a 355 owner. 3.) You must ALSO add a post in the same thread stating the last six digits of the VIN# of your 355 Ferrari. If you haven't joined the '355 Registry" a link is provided here to take you there where you can join. Now is as good a time to join as any. Any questions about the '355 Registry' can be answered by 285ferrari since he administers the register. 4.) The poll/vote will remain open for one week, enough time for everyone to lobby and present arguments for their name choice. Just a suggestion might be to hold off voting for awhile until cases are made for both names, because once you vote, that's it , you can not change your vote. Anyway, pretty simple. It is open----Look at the poll and click on the number for each choice--it gives a list of usernames that voted... Unless someone here can 100% confirm the voter owns a 355---The vote will NOT count--Remember that guys...Having "98 355" under your personal car section of your profile doesn't cut it...WOW---2 guys with less than 10 posts each have voted---Where are these people coming from??? Guys like Cinemagic, PKF355, CavalloRosso, iam2cute are good to go---Those guys frequent here enough that we know they own 355's!!!
Robbie, I do agree that only owners should vote, however, if you search those guys with less than 10 post, you can see that they are actual owners. Anyway, it is worth restating... ONLY VOTE IF YOU CAN VERIFY OWNERSHIP OF A 355 THROUGH THE 355 REGISRTY OR BY POSTING YOUR VIN! (I felt like shouting) As for me, my vote is still for sale...
hmmm tough call. I was set on Scuderia but the Fratelli boys are swaying me. I'll hold off until the end of the week...now off to check out the 430 Scuderia at the auto show!

I agree with the goth-man, I would hate to be viewed as a 430 wannabe, especially because all 355 owners KNOW our cars are way cooler and more fun than a 430, even if 0-60 times aren't as fast. What would the average true Ferrari enthusiast rather have, 3 cherry 355's, or one 430? My only concern (previously stated by others) is that this new "club" will alienate us from the 348 guys, and at the end of the day, who cares which iteration we have, whether it be a 348 or 355, we are all Ferrari fanatics! oh yeah, what happens in the case of a tie?? I VOTED SCUDERIA VIN is 112378 Fratelli may be familiar to others here, but I never heard the word before. If we're going to have caps, etc to show off to "the outside world", the name needs to be understandable. As Robin Williams once said to Oprah, who was wearing a loud, multi-colored sweater on her show, "Fashion should make a statement, not ask a question". So should our SWAG.
