Roger re vacumaid - DON'T! The hard plastic hoses on these will crucify your car where they come across scuttles etc.

 

I don't know Marc Jones. Miles runs a respected long-time Ferrari repair shop in Sydney. He's expensive, knowledgeable and reliable. A younger version of JA in Melbourne. He looks after the best 275's and Daytonas in NSW and is the only guy I trust with a Daytona. Most of the others here spend all their time with V8's and have no real V12 experience.

I'm just too busy at the moment to do the job myself, as much as I would have enjoyed it.

Ian, you are wrong...

0.10mm is 0.004" thou.. and 0.12mm is 0.006" (thousandths of an inch)... setting your tappets to this will damage your engine.

The correct clearances are 0.20-25mm or 0.008-10" thou for inlet, and 0.30-35mm or 0.012-0.014" for exhaust.

Set cold.
