... it is however 26K, will only delay order by 2 weeks.

Was told that special order colors including Bianco Fuji would not be accepted on the first run cars (the 50s/60s colors are OK as are all the standard colors). If I did order Bianco Fuji it would delay up to 6 months.

    Am torn between:

Bianco Avus, Nero Daytona, New Rosso Scuderia, And the cool blue launch color (I believe this is Avio Met).

I'm tempted to go black, with gold stripes/wheels.

Anyway order is in with very basic spec so far, so I have my slot, just not confirmed my spec and colors.

Bianco Fuji is well worth the cost ($ and time). Do it and you'll have a difficult 6 months, followed by a wonderful couple of years ;)

Something is worth to wait. Yours could be a rare piece of art in town, at least for the first moment, IMHO!.

Dan, when do you have to have your specs in? Besides color, what other options? Rear carbon fibr diffser, stripe, etc.?

I think I'm going with yellow but man I like the Avio Met. too!

I love yellow but its flash. Bianco would be spectacular, though Black would be nice too. In my opinion dont go red unless you do something cool with the interior or else its a bit plain, there are going to be a lot of red ones, plus looks like you already have some nice red cars! The light blue is nice too. Overall, its how bad you can wait.

PS If you bring it to Cape Cod in the summer let me know, man I want to see one!

This week I believe then we seal the build date and the factory can get on with things. I'm just going through the options, but there isn't really anything as official as a true options list, so I'm piecing together stuff from here and from the original product announcement back in September.

I'm probably going to go leather interior. I sat in the car in NY and I like the 2-layer cloth that the seats have in the middle and the headlining, but I personally don't like the "technical cloth" - its a bit "shiny". So either Alcantara or Leather, but keeping the 2-layer inserts and roof lining. I don't think I'll bother with the sills/footwell options. Apparently even having the trunk trimmed is an option!

Given I have a race car, I'm not going to get too obsessive about weight on this one, since it will be a road car, so no CF/Sills or diffuser. Once you see a challenge car put two wheels over a curb and rip off the diffuser off it will cure you of the big price tag for the CF diffuser.

I'll report back with a fuller spec and will post a more complete options list if I can pull one together.

What is the new Rosso Scuderia?

The F1 Red on the show car is not Rosso Scuderia so I am confused.

Dan you are my hero....your collection of cars just keeps getting bigger and better. Your not afraid to drive them either which is the best part :) I would probably go with white on the F430S and have the 360CS stripe installed.

The pics I see are F430S pics but sometimes imagevenue can mess up the link and people will see completely random pictures which is the case for a few here I assume.

I went for Rosso Corsa with gold stripes and gold wheels, with red alcantara interior. I kind of regret not going for Bianco Avus, but u cant really go wrong with a red Ferrari. I actually called up my dealer today and asked if I could change it now, but its too late :(

Those pics of the Bianco Scud in Monaco make me want one in white! It looks great! Get it dan, you won't regret it.

Yes, the new color is called "Nuovo Rosso Scuderia" The option is approx. $27,000 USD

Dealers know all this folks. They also have prices and option lists with prices. Why they aren't sharing it with their customers I have no idea.

Indeed - Hopefully they are emailing something thru, but I haven't seen the same stuff I saw when speccing my last cars for the 430S yet.

I had a Bianco Fuji Maserati and it is a pain in the a_s if you actually drive your car fast and get stone chips. IMO absolutely unsuitable for 430S - a car not worth owning unless you drive fast

I've just ordered "Nuovo Rosso Scuderia" for mine, but thought long and hard about Bianco Fuji!!

I've seen a few black Scuderias, and they don't look particularly special........

And how much was Nuovo Rosso Scuderia for Euro spec car? My dealer in Germany told me back in November that price for this paint option will be EUR 12.500,00. Best.
