I always felt that he was overrated. He's got a great supporting cast around him. Once the Giants figured out how to stop Barber, it put the pressure on Romo to make plays. He just seems to lack the composure that seperates great quarterbacks from good quarterbacks.

Eh...they can keep him, if Sporano leaves for the fish I think they're in for a rough season anyway.

For the DFW-based Cowboy fans, is Romo getting blasted in the local media?

I have not seen too much yet. There seems to be a lot of blame to go around, what with all the "dropped catchable balls", the missed tackles, and a few officiating issues.

What is getting talked (a lot IMHO) is the fate of Wade (talk that maybe this is the excuse JJ needed to move Jason into his corner office).

Shows how intelligent anti-Romoites are using "know" instead of "now".

    I noticed that too.

Football players have never been known to be rocket scientists. Now the fans don't look too bright either. ;)

Romo doesn't want to leave beautiful Texas? Like I said, no rocket scientist. :D

Probably thinking of the possibility that he could have been an Eagle this season.

Yup sure. 3rd best QB in the league, 2nd most TDs this years, 4000+ yards passing, and leading his team to 13 victories in his first year as a starter, absolutely he is definitely over-rated and the Cowboys should bring back Drew Bledsoe, Vinny Testaverde, Drew Henson, Chad Hutchinson, or Quincy Carter.

Whats he got to show for it ???? Answer = F all.

Its all well and good doing quite well in the regular season against, mostly, average teams, but give me an apprasial on his play off performances. You know in the 'when it counts' time when the Pressure is on a real winners step up.
    Where's Romo then ??

Sorry the guy i talented, but thats about it. Besides its my opinion that their isn't that many quailty QB's in the entire NFL at the moment

More like his lack of playoff performance.

You cannot honestly blame Romo for the loss of either playoff games. He played his best, which normally should have been enough to win the game but everyone else came up a little short.

It still makes me sick that people are considering Eli to be such a great QB as of late. Realistically, it has been his defense and the run game that have won the games for the Jints. Yet, somehow Romo who is levels above Eli is considered a person who can't win in the playoffs and is somehow being discredited for being a Top 3 QB in the league.

I reckon you and Romo should get a room (i hear he is single now)? Then after that you can critique his performances in a fair manner.

Forgive me for being English and not knowing a whole load about the NFL, but if a team gets to the superbowl, surely the QB has had one big say in that? No?

Nope. Romo is vacationing with Jessica right now. The same thing he was doing before the last game. Dude needs to get his priorities straight.

Are you kidding me!?!?! Who's fault is the botched snap. Maybe everyone could have played better but the fact remains they had a chance to win and Romo blew it. This year wasn't as bad but the team still had a decent chance to win and he threw a pick. Maybe not totally Romo's fault but the fact remains that he made mistakes twice that caused his team to lose the game.
