Figured I'd pop this up instead of starting a new thread.

Are Audi dealers allowing test drives?

Not interested, in purchasing, just liked to drive one.

 

if you're truely, i would suppose they will let you take it out.

 

Only one way to find out I suppose.

I'll swing in one day since it's on the way home. If not, then I'll just ask to drive the next step down, lol.

 

FYI very few dealers actually have R8s on hand. If a dealer is fortunate enough to have an R8 allocated to them, it is ussally presold before it ever arrives. So the chances of finding one on a lot to test drive are slim.

 

When do the R8's come to nj? Havent seen one,

 

They had one up in Ramsey NJ dealership for quite some time.

I think its been sold recently.

Yea, I know. There was one sitting out front of the dealer I drive by daily. The spot where it was seemed very unlikely to be a presold unit as it was outside in miserable weather, very small lot in the front showcasing the cars.

Like I said, it's worth a shot.

 

its what my dealer told me and they have a 2 year waiting list for the car if you want it at msrp.....no cars to test drive....the supply in the US is very limited and many are going for well over list on the secondary market!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Texas, if you're interested (even though you're down in Houston), Boardwalk Audi has 4 R8s on hand.

Believe me, if I was in the market for a car, the R8 would be up there. And worthy of me checking out up close. My current car suits me great right now, not to mention almost a year old. And the price is out of reach too, lol.

Ever since I saw one rolling down the street I've fallen in love with the looks. It's stunning.

I'd personally prefer a new one over these though due to price.

 

Hard to get a test drive since most are sold. I am 2nd in line at my local dealer for the higher powered R8 due out next year. It is a nice car.
