I use these. They are as soft as a baby blanket.

I considered the Covercraft Formfit and Duststop and also the California Car Company Superweave. I wanted good dust protection and also some reasonable ding protection, as well as being able to wash it in a home washing machine.

I decided to get the Formfit. I think it will have good dust protection, good ding protection, and can be washed at home without a big problem. It's still in transit, though, so haven't rec'd it yet. I bought it from www.autopartswarehouse.com, which was about $20 cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Website said it was in stock, but it did take them 5 bus. days to ship it out.

Here's a link to the Covercraft Indoor cover comparison chart:

Let us know if you find a smoking deal on a great cover somewhere!

and FandLCars - thanks for the link - bummer they don't carry the year I need. Surprisingly they carry every other Ferrari model for that given year but the one I'm looking for.

I bought from Griot's some black Spandex type form fitting cover w/ my last name embroidered on the front. Very nice. For outside I’ve gone w/ California Car Cover for all my cars for years w/ the latest from Kimberly Clark – the same company that supplies the hospital I work at w/ surgical masks, gowns, etc. I’ve always thought that that was amusing.

CoastCar Covers makes great covers. Located in San Diego, Morena Boulevard. I have a couple of their stretch covers. They do custom work too, if your car does not happen to be in their catalog of patterns.

ok, I know why people cover their sports cars indoors, but why buy a car you cannot look at???? Every time I go out into the garage I love to just sit and stare at what I have. It would be too much of a problem to take off 5 car covers on the 5 cars I have...

bunch of good products to choose from, just depends on your preference and price range. I use one from Griots garage. Custom fit, fabric can breath but keeps the dust off the car. The first 6 months I had the car, I did not have a cover and was amazed at how much dust can get on the car. Only problem is what someone else pointed out, which is now I can't look at it every time I go out in the garage.

Actually, one of the reasons I like to cover my car is that I don't get to used to looking at it... I like the anticipation of uncovering it and seeing it after days of not looking at it ;)

    +1

Also, I've found that car covers collect dust and my car actually stays cleaner without one (stored indoors).

No doubt. But, if your wife has a cat, as mine does, and little kitty has a bad habit of sneaking into the garage, then an indoor car cover is an absolute necessity. There is no "blood running cold," heart-stopping terror like what I experienced the first day my girl arrived. She hadn't been in the garage 10 mins, I stepped inside to get a soda, came back out, and HOLY %&#@% THE CAT GOT IN THE GARAGE AND IS ON THE HOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! AND ITS NOT DECLAWED!!!! So I step towards her, slowly and quietly, saying "nice kitty, nice kitty" while in my mind I am saying "You *%$#@ piece of *%^$ if you put one scratch on that car you're going to die a very violent death and my wife will never find your body." Soldiers caught in minefields haven't walked as lightly as I did towards that cat that day. Is the cat still alive, you ask? Yep, because that little feline brain must have caught the impending violence vibes that were blasting from my head, and it didn't twitch. Lifted her off, pitched her outside, went straight to store and bought a cover.

Sounds like blatant advertising, particularly since there's zip for a profile. Next!
