Curious, who made up these odds? I would have given Renault and BMW greater odds of coming close to winning the WCC than in this chart. And I would have put Red Bull and Toro Rosso, even Williams, above Honda. Of course (!), I would have narrowed the odds for Massa being WDC to be closer to Hamilton and Raikkonen.
Oh no! Massa with better odds than Alonso. There's going to be some Nah Nah, told you so in just a second.
I too. I think Kovaleninen will be right in the thick untill Ron says "thats it now we have a #1 driver". Sorry I should have said they will have a #1 driver but Ron will insist they dont.
But I was under the impression that he could make any car that much faster. Or is it he can make any car faster when he has Ferrari plans in his back pocket. 47 days to go
I think he will be ahead of Alonso @ this point. Even is Alonso better driver, Massa have enough exp. and better formula.
Lol! It was Bananarama. I can't believe you didn't know that? They're like as big as the Rolling Stones! ...J/K about the "as big as the Rolling Stones" part.
Yes I figured that Massa would be more like 3 or 4 to 1 but then he is in the right position. I think his chances are good and may be placing a bet myself on him to win it all. At 6 to 1.....not bad.
They were a musical band from the olden days, I think. Archaeologists recently uncovered one of the members during a dig in Vegas. Here is an artist's rendering of the remains they found. Hope this helps. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh yes, thank you Michael. Now I remember. This is the guy that fell out of a Palm tree. But that was not the weird part of his life. He lived in Connecticut. Now that is weird.

+1 -- I'd give Kimi/Massa/LH all about the same chance (and Alonso, too, if the Renault was more competitive last year). Don't mean to bash the lower end of the field, but 250-to-1 doesn't seem anywhere near fair -- shouldn't it be more like 2500-to-1?
Alonso and the Renault will be the team to watch this year to "upset the apple cart". Briatore is no fool, neither is Alonso. Raikkonen/Massa should be the favorites, Hamilton and Heikki, yes Heikki, right up there. But Alonso will podium by the third race. 2008 will be the best F1 season competitively speaking in the last 20 years. Maybe longer, but of course I am not old enough to remember past 20 years. ;}

I am a seller of Massa at 5.5:1 Any takers? Piquet Jr. having the same odds as Nico Rosberg is a joke. I'd sell that spread all day long. The Renault has been tearing up its rear tires in testing without traction control but the Williams is showing to be one of the best chassis. I expect Williams to surprise this year but I am expecting nothing from Piquet Jr. Ditto for Renault at 8.5 and Williams at 41 in WCC odds. Sell that spread.
Someone please check my math: Ferrari at 1.6:1 McLaren at 3:1 That equates to a 95.83% probability of one of those two teams winning the title, right? If so, then the best bet is to take both of them as the way I see it, those two teams have a 100% probability of winning the title.
