I am looking for some information on the fender sheilds. Does anyone make a metal or plastic fender sheild that is magnetic, but also looks like a true enamel sheild and not a refrigerator magnet? I am trying to avoid having to put adhesive on my paint. Second, I would like to order floor mats for a 348, in beige with a red horse in the center. This sounds simlpe enough, but how do I know which beige to get, to match my interior, is there an interior code that the mat companies can marry up to?? Thanks for your help...

Sorry, but those stick-on plastic shields on an otherwise $100,000-looking car just don't do it for me. I wouldn't put a vinyl sticker on any car, much less a Ferrari.

I bought the thin metal ones from a guy on here named Yoshi I believe and they look flat out awesome - totally factory look. Adhesives DO NOT hurt your paint if taken off correctly. Worst case is you have to polish your paint a little after removing. 5 minute job.

If you are not in a hurry on the mats, I know of a vendor on Ebay that will be offering mats in a month or so for Ferrari and Lamborghini. He used my factory 355 mats for templates and here is the sample he made for me recently. The tan is one shade darker than the oem carpet, which is a plus, so it will hide dirt and soiling better. I had some other mats previously from Lloyd that were made with a closer shade to oem, and they always showed the dirt. The carpet is a very nice quality. (ignore the light diagonal crease in this sample, I left a box on it last night and it left a light crease that needs to be brushed out) I'm sure he can do a red horse, no problem. I believe the target price will be around $225 to $250.
Note the horse is made out of carpet, not the simpler embroidery. Backing is rubber, with quality thread serging on the edges and factory type carpet hold downs. (disclaimer; he is both a friend, and made this sample for me for free, though I am not in business with him)

BTW, most vendors will call the Ferrari shade of tan/beige as either tan or saddle.

    Vendor on Ebay is "johnruthh".

+1 on the Yoshi shields. Once you put them on you are not going to want or need to take them off anyway.

Actually, if you ask for the "Fchat discount", he will usually knock 20% off...so only $280. ;) I had the resin shields like you posted, on my 308 years ago...they look good from 20 feet away...but any closer and they look, well..."not so much". :(

To get the discount, I think you just have to type "FChat" into the discount-code box on Yoshi's web site. I got the Yoshi's for xmas this past year, and I really like them. More expensive, but worth it IMHO.

I'm not aware of any thin magnetic ones. All of the nicer ones are adhesive as far as I know.

Last floor mats I bought were from Keith Collins at Artexture...For those of you that like the SAVVY of custom wool he's the guy.....Warning!!! They aren't cheap and take a while to get, but nothing looks as good especially for shows and special occasions...http://www.artexture.com/carmats/gallery_carmats.php

    Another good article http://www.blackenterprise.com/cms/exclusivesopen.aspx?id=2984

They are usually about 800.00.....When you see them they are unbelievable!

Granted Greg's mats look great and quite a bit cheaper too.....
