    Guys,
We're going to be looking for early cars - Concours cars. From the earliest (whichever one that is) up to probably the Dino's. Tom Shaughnessy ( on this site) will be helping to spearhead the selection. So, email me back or Tom. We're hoping to have 30+ cars from all over the country. The show itself will feature 225+ cars. Ferrari will be one of the features, along with 8 Litre Bentley's, 16 V-16's, Cars from 1933 - and the usual assortment of Foreign Cars, Sports Cars, Muscle Cars, and Classics. Visit our website at www.mbhconcours.org.

Looking forward to having many of you come!!
    Larry

    Larry,
You and Tom should join the Michigan FOC, then events like this we can put on our 2008 FOC Michigan calendar. Not to mention, we have a blast with all of the great activities that we do!

Tom lives in California, and although I'm in Michigan - my collection doesn't yet include a Ferrari. I collect sports cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and classics - Ferrari will have to be next.

The Vector is sleek, but at Meadow Brook we go no later than 1969+ a few. We'll have 240 or so cars - Ferrari is one of the features this year. So, how about helping Tom and I get some great cars for the show. August 3rd - first Sunday in August.

It has been several years since I have been to Meadow Brook. Do they still have the historic races at Waterford Hills?

Thats strange, last year you had Ken's Enzo there. That seems newer.

Does this mean the modern supercar section is killed? I thought that was a hit last year... 8C alfa, MC12, Enzo, Veyron, and even a VW OEM "tuner" car...

That wasn't technically the show, even though it was very popular. Although a few years ago they did have some supercars in the rings.

I'd say Meadowbrook should do a timeline of F-Cars. Starting from the first year all the way to the current Scuderia. Put them in a line similar to how the Merceds Benzes were last year. Don't put them in rings. One could walk down the line and see how ferrari changed from model to model. Even have the racecars in there. Just a thought.

Oh also have F Car Only Parking right on the grounds itself. Behind where the Muscle cars were last year. That area doesn't ever get used anyways.

It's starting to sound like us Michigan/Indiana/Ohio owners should do a group-drive up to, and a gathering at, Meadowbrook? (hint....wishful thinking....wink...) I'm up for it....maybe if we start planning now...

All good ideas.....last year we did have "supercars" in the courtyard. We plan on doing that again this year. They aren't judged, but are there for people to drool over. So, the Vector could potentially be put there.

We may, as some have suggested, do a timeline - from early to late. It might also be interesting to have the earliest ones there - if we can every decide on which one is #1.

It would also be nice if we can get participation from the local clubs. We can do a special show on Saturday - or have special parking for club cars on Sunday. We did that last year for Alfa Romeo. If anyone wants to head that up, let me know.

For the show circle - may have up to 30 cars. I would especially like to get either a time line or a circle of race cars, circle of coachwork cars, and a circle of later production cars.

Ideas are welcome - and be sure to pass ideas on to me or to Tom.

I think since feature car is Ferrari the FOC-Michigan should be the lead club....and we're the only active Ferrari club in the state anyways......let us know how we can help....what do you think Jerrey,Nat,Mike?
