It wouldnt be a 2002 model year it was only produced from 1990 - 1995 also the engine should be putting out "only" 592hp so either this is one optimistic seller or he is full of BS watch yourself.
No. Here's one asking 60% less: http://www.fa-automobile.com/liste-par-modele.php?car-for-sale=Bugatti-EB-110-GT-EB110-ss-Super-Sport&id=15&m=62
Here's a new one for even less. If you search you can find a lot of these for sale. We have for sale a NEW Bugatti EB 110 0 KM In silver / Leather creme Price: 410.000 DM without taxes E-mail: [email protected]
Dauer bought the rights to the EB110 and manufactured them years later, including engine upgrades producing more power.
There is a silver SS in Santa Cruz(NorCal) for sale at $475K. I remember back in 01, These regular EB110 go for $225-$275. I almost purchase a dark blue Euro car with 8k miles for $185k back in 01. Tony
A true EB110 SS with low miles sold to Japan from California for 375k$ about 10 months ago... original asking price was 650K... did it come back?
I don`t know, but for 650K $ you might still get a new one from Dauer. At least I would try to ask him. I`d prefer this colour: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
As I can`t edit my previous post anymore: Dauer seems to have stopped production: http://www.eb110-service.com/offer001/dauer-eb110.htm http://www.eb110-service.com/
Agreed. Though their performance is eclipsed by many newer production cars, the EB110, F50, McLaren F1, 911 GT1, CLK-GTR and XJ220 are still objects of my desire.
Just to clear up any confusion here - once Bugatti SpA (the Italian one) failed in 1995, Jochen Dauer bought the few unfinished EB110s, intending to tune them slightly and re-sell them as the Dauer EB110. To my knowledge, there are Dauer EB110s with model years as late as 2005. In addition, Dauer tuned some to even higher specification than standard EB110 models - those were called the Dauer EB110 SS. I'm not sure how many there are, but it's probably not more than a handful. Those had 650 horsepower from the factory, as the original poster stated, and were, resultantly, a little faster and quicker than 'regular' EB110s. I'm surprised to hear nthfinity state that one sold for $375,000 recently. That's a lot of car for the money. I tried to do a conversion of Deutsch Marks into U.S. dollars to get a better grasp on the price on that car, but the Deutsch Mark has been out of circulation for six years! I'm guessing they've moved that one along by now.
I have EB110 SS blue for sale $450Konly from partner in Russia. You wire only $300K to me in U.S. and partner deliver car then you pay rest $150K. Seriously though, what I think you should do is only pay the seller $650,000 and then get one of those russian tuners to make a Veyron body for your EB110 SS. So you would be driving around in a car that is supposed to look like $1.6 million even though it will probably only look like $1,600 even though you paid $300,000 to much to begin with when you bought it for $650,000. Did you follow all of that? Do yourself a favor and dont be a d*** to the nice folks on F-chat.
The tuned EB110s you write about in your second paragraph are actually the only EB110s that came out from Dauer (so no "in addition"). They were worked over versions of Bugatti's own EB110SS. Main differences being extensive use of carbonfibre (resulting in a 200kg loss) and power bump from the standard Bugatti EB110SS' 612hp to 645hp. I am unsure though whether B.Engineering came into possession of any of the Bugatti chassis/parts (the Edonis is apparently heavily based on the EB110) or is it just that a significant amount of Bugatti brainpower forms this company and they recreated the EB110 in the form of the Edonis. Edit - See this thread; http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=159134&highlight=edonis TIFOSITR posted that the total of EB110 chassis and engines was 110. qv500.com claims that overall there were 136 chassis and then 5 Dauers. There might be a slight error here somewhere though, as maths and logic would imply. Taking into consideration the fact that B.Engineering only intended to make 21 examples of the Edonis I'd say Bugatti built 110 examples of the EB110 (both GT and SS), Dauer built 5 (SS) and the remainder of the chassis (21 units) went to B.Engineering. So qv500 might have erroniously excluded the 5 Dauers from Bugatti's production run and posted them as separate chassis. What do you guys think?
qv500 Is not always 100% when it comes to facts. It's still a good place for info but I have heard of more chassis being built on other forums.
