Hi, my name is Danny. I do not have an Ferrari, but I am a fan of it. Im looking to do a photo shoot with any Ferrari/Lambo/any supercar in the Washington area. I am looking to shoot any Ferrari that has been cleanly modified stock. Any color is fine. PM me if your interested and we will talk about what you want, either Day/Night/Garage Shots. I am planning to do the shoot within the next couple weeks and it will most likely take place on a SUNDAY. This will be FREE!!! I am fairly new to photography so I am looking for practice. Here are some of my shots:

If you're truly new to photography, and this is a sample of your work, you're going to have a very successful career. Very nice work.

This is a follow up to this thread.

First, I think the photographs are great and, I'd love to have some of my car. I feel so strongly that I went so far as to send e-mail to Danny.

I sent Danny Wiryawan a message last October about scheduling a date for our shoot, but was told that he'd be available in early November. When I didn't get a response in November, I sent him a message again (the end of November) to see about our photoshoot (assuming he'd either forgotten or got busy). To this day, he's never responded.

So, if you're interested in his photos, you might need to have a nicer Ferrari than mine or be prepared for a long wait.

    FYI.

IMHO the whole thing smells. :( I do a lot of photography and have a fair understanding of what it takes for those type of shots. IF those are his shots he is NOT a beginner. I doubt however that they are his. Those shots are also heavily PSed. Count yourself lucky not to have hooked up with him. Of course, I could be wrong. :)

    Thanks Mordalo.

So, I guess if Danny wants to maintain any credibility with our group, he'll have to prove himself with new photos of one of our cars. Otherwise, I'm not sure we can believe anything he writes here.

I agree.... "Bring out your $$$ exotic car and meet up with a total stranger for a "free photo shoot," is not something I would be very comfortable doing.

True story: A friend of mine was advertising a very nice muscle car for sale in the local paper. A potential buyer called and asked that they meet at a nearby Safeway parking lot to look the car over.

The "buyer" ended up speeding off / stealing the car when my friend got out to switch seats after the guy had finished his test drive.

The car was never recovered. Luckily he had a good replacement value insurance policy and he wasn't shot or stabbed.

Danny did come out and do a photo shot of my car and from the preliminary shots it looks liek he did a good job. I am still waiting for the follow through of seeing the complete portfolio and getting some high resolution images I can have printed though.

You'll have to post some images when you get them.

Did he have you send a picture of your car before he'd have the shoot? He asked me to. Maybe that was my downfall. I think my car looks pretty sweet but perhaps he didn't agree with me. :)

BTW: What did he charge you?

No charge (yet anyway). I just described my car. I may have emailed him a photo I had of it but don't remember for sure.

Which is why I carry. And remove the keys whenever I exit the car.

I almost had my buyer not make his payments (I recently sold my Porsche), luckily I had a good contract written up just in case we had to go to court. Once I gently reminded him of it I got the full amount a couple days later. Don't take advantage of my generousity and we'll get along fine ;)

Okay, so now I'm really feeling put out. (sniff, sniff)

Giving him the benefit of another doubt, I'll send him email again and see what he says.

Since he didn't respond to my last message, he may not respond again. So if anyone wants to also ping him on my behalf, I'd appreciate it.

I don't know about the others, but those were definitely the photos he took of my car. I saw some of the raw photos and yes, he does over do it on the photoshop but he is learning. He is about 18 or 19 I would estimate and very enthusiastic about cars.

Hey Gene, I think the photos of your 360 are great because they are stylized. Nice work.
