Buy you gotta see how the radar things works. I feel like Tom Cruise, minus the Scientology, and adding Mission Impossible. My radar/lazer readout is in my rear view mirrior. But there's more to talk about. I hate suggesting ANYBODY for electronics but this dudes got my vote, and I have been in the upper stratosphere of high-end hifi for 30 years.

Had I installed it before getting tagged for 105 mph it would have been mo betta.......oh well.

 

Kevin is definitely #1 around here. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car.

Laser Jammers are illegal in CA.
When a Laser detector goes off, you have no time and it just tells that you will receive the ticket.

Having it in the rear view mirror allows the police to see it to.

What good is a laser detector?
Once you are hit, is all over and no time to reaction.

 

He's got laser diffusers which operate diffently than jammers or at least that's what the literature says.

i have my V1 mounted near the rear view, but i'd definitely like something like that done. The ebay source that used to mod the mirrors like that no longer does it, and no one has stock anymore.

that, and i've been looking into something like the blinder laser system for my car as well..

 

They let you know when Infiniti suv's are near.

Having had 30 years in the audii biz, I will listen to one of his cars and report. Many car stereo guys are good cosmetic and box makers, but don't understand sonics. But in speaking to him, he understands the problems and "lingo" that other don't.

 

He has my car as we speak. I'm upgrading my sound system with the latest Alpine head unit (link below) technology specifically designed to work with the iPod, plus a bunch of high end speakers and watts. I can't wait to get her back.

Here is the CA statute on jammers/diffusers. Less than four devices is an infraction (a ticket). Four or more is a misdemeanor:

Jamming: Electronic Speed-Measuring Devices
28150. (a) No vehicle shall be equipped with any device that is designed for, or is capable of, jamming, scrambling, neutralizing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with radar, laser, or any other electronic device used by a law enforcement agency to measure the speed of moving objects.

(b) No person shall use, buy, possess, manufacture, sell, or otherwise distribute any device that is designed for jamming, scrambling, neutralizing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with radar, laser, or any other electronic device used by a law enforcement agency to measure the speed of moving objects.

(c) Except as provided in subdivision (d), a violation of subdivision (a) or (b) is an infraction.

(d) When a person possesses four or more devices in violation of subdivision (b), the person is guilty of a misdemeanor.
