If anyone took pictures of this car please post. Thank you.
Yes it is. I was hoping to see other photos to see the color in different lights. Would appreciate more postings. Thanks. john

I think the next-to-last picture above most accurately portrays the car's color, at least to my eyes. Jack.
If I remember correctly the owner is from the Pittsburgh area and the car was fresh out of a full restoration done in Mass. I talked to him briefly and I believe his name was Al Barbour. Someone might have his contact information and you could ask him directly.
Thanks for your kindness. These are nice shots and they convey the color well. I am interested in concocting this color with less yellow and thus giving it a blue undertone. Thanks again. john
I do not know. I have never seen a Ferrari of this era in this color. One thing for sure is that it is out of this world, especially with that saddle color interior. The 250 GTL has never shown so well! john
Yes, John, this would be better with less of a yellow undertone. Seems to British and heavy for the car to my eyes.... I keep thinking MG. Jon
I must say that it is not a color that will ever be amongst my favorites but I respect anyone going for unusual colors. The blue Lusso next to it was probably my favorite ever in terms of appearance, it was a very very fine sight with the tan interior.
I agree that the Lusso and the 250 SWB look stunning in that medium or dark blue metallic. If you were to take a poll on the two Cavallino Lussos, I think eight out of 10 people would pick the blue Lusso over the green one. My concern, personally, is that the blue on tan is being done too often and it may turn out to be the red on black of the 80's. john
Good point. My favorites are giallo fly tan and verde pino tan, with some variations such as pumpkin.
John, It seems like you already have the info (pics) you need. But if not, here are a few others: Bill Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Tim and Bill, Thanks for the additional photos. Every one tells a slightly differnet story about the color, doesn't it. I'd imagine the truest representation is the glimps of the front fender in the shot of the engine bay. There are two different schools of thought when it comes to color. The majority works hard to replicate the car's exact original color. Some just want to be creative and make the car the best it can be-- at least in their eyes, anyway. I'm with the latter. It would be interesting to find which category this car fits in. john
John, You're very welcome. Are you doing a full restoration? Or just repainting? Would love to see pictures and/or progress pictures. Please provide a link. Bill
Hi Bill, It's a full-on rebuild. The car was argento (picture taken in 2006). I'd like to make it a blue version of the shade of green shown in this thread. I can see it in my mind's eye, but haven't made up the actual color yet. john Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It could also be the actual picture. I actually like the Argento. Still...John please create a thread for the rebuild and let us know. I would like to see how it goes AND hopefully see your car one day!! Thanks for sharing. Bill
