It was a good game with a lot of excitement. The Giants just pulled it out by a hair. Several plays were like the old Hail Mary play.

Great game, and congrats to the Giants and their fans! To me the most impressive play was the escape by Eli and the incredible one hand and a helmet catch a few plays before the winning TD. The defense will be kicking themselves for not finishing the sack on that one! Still the best season you could have without being the champs.... They took it from St. Louis when they were the underdogs, now NY did it to them. Really good defense by the Giants.

Congrats to the NY Giants for winning :) !!!! They came in as the underdog, expected to lose, but played solid throughout the entire game and never gave up.

Gotta feel for the Pats and their fans.... They came so far only to come up short in the final game. New England still has the Celtics, and, in a few more weeks, the Red Sox

    Great game!!

It was just a little old Ranger pickup with an electrician or something driving it. Just thought it was funny to see that particular plate this morning. I am a fan of the Dolphins, but it has been difficult since Shula left. You need a great coach and a great QB to start a great team. I am far more interested in college football than the NFL.

But the Patriots story was a good one this year, and they pulled out some great wins. The superbowl they seemed to have less precision than in other games, and were somewhat overwhelmed physically with the Giants defensive line. Those guys really did seem like "Giants" last night!

    Every team has injuries.

And you would be saying this if the Pats WON ??

Teams change coaches and players all the time, but seldom do they lie in futility for 10-12 years like the Dolphins.
Look at Cincinnati, and even Cleveland, Cincinnati changes coaches, and goes to the playoffs the very next season.

I was watching the Pats when they came out onto the field before the game, and to me, they really didn't look like they had ANY 'real' fire in their eyes, I turned to the wife and said 'Giants are gonna win'.

I'll blame this loss on Giselle being there....

Now watch the press go to work on this: 'The Pats are OLD, washed-up, dynasty is over, the new dynasty is in The Meadowlands, where the only old guy on the team is Strahan.

    +1 with what's been said.

Great game, and unbelievable defensive effort by the Giants. Brady got rocked. 5 sacks = David Carr sackage....lol.

Sadly I never gave the Giants a chance but once I saw that the Pats' first play was a fake reverse I knew the Giants would at least make a game of it. Why do the undefeated, all conquering Patriots decide to run a trick play right off the bat? If you know you have the better football team all you have to do is play straight up and the best team will win. Whatever the Patriots had in their tank to go through the season undefeated there was certainly none of it left for this game.

The best team certainly won last night. Sad end somewhat for the Patriots but that's why the games actually get played. The Giants had all the fight in them and they went out and made themselves the winners. Well done Giants.

Question: the Giants finished the season 13-6. Is that the worst record ever for a Super Bowl winning team?

Like I said F** Rodney Harrison!

Thats what he gets for running his mouth like the idiot he is thats why he and the rest of the cheaters lost the big one after that so called "Perfect Season" boy those last 2mins where the greatest ones I have felt in awhile to see those cheaters lose it felt great to watch Rodney Harrison look stupid with that pass to David Tyree, that Touchdown from big PB and to watch Tom Brady struggle in those last 35seconds of the game boy that was a great superbowl:D.

Eli is the man!. He's always welcome to come play for Jacksonville anytime :).

I don't think so. They said that one other team won it as the Wild Card (an AFC team). I don't remember who--I'll look it up.
