Last year I went for a leisurely drive in the country. My car aquaplaned and got a bit sideways. Gave me a bit of a surprise as I was sitting on the speed limit and on a straight bit of road, but it was no big deal.

I'm contemplating doing that drive again this year...and here's what scud had to say about it.

"gunna try and stick it in like last year ?
f!ck that would of made me laugh beyond comprehension"

    reference here

    http://aussieexotics.com/forum/aussie-exotics-lounge/aircon-vs-the-internet-t757.0.html;msg12582#msg12582

but you might have to subscribe.

Just thought I'd post it in case any of you were wondering about his morality.

    My thoughts are confirmed.

Of course you all know "stick it in" means "crash the car", right?

    Thats not fair.

You advertising pp. I think aussie exotics should have a link to f chat. So often there are references.

So now you need to explain what happened.

I do recall however at some state PP you did make some comments about Rog's missfortune at Buller that one time, so i guess it would provide for a feeling of retribution for your comments?

im not getting into it, but lets face it, many things have been said in past (between many ppl on this forum)that were probably best not being said at all.

yet again pless , you pull a post from anoter website across to here for no reason . you have said millions read the web , so if they choose to read aussie exotics , then they would see what i have said . but no , you have to drag it over here for all your mates to see . interesting that no one has really said anything bad about my post yet . it's good over at AE , i can tell you to get ****ed without worring about the mods .

Mt. Buller is hardly 'misfortune'. Competition is about ability, skill and ambition. They need to be in the right order and the right proportion. Good on scud for having a go and the best way to improve ability and skill is to do events like Buller and Targa but no one cares who got 10th best time on a stage if the car finishes up in a wall.

There is a big difference between 'sticking it in' at Buller and aquaplaning on a public road at posted speed limits. Neither would be a particularly nice experience and not to be laughed at.

    quite the contrary waz

on several occasions that incident was joked about...a near miss can always be reflected upon with a degree of humour

i recall having several mutual chuckles about it

seems this thread is more about stirring the pot (and curing boredom) rather than as a result of Aircon actually feeling upset at scuds comment

but, im sure 99% of fchat new that :)

There are times when things are mathematically correct, and now is such a time - PP was absolutely morally correct to bring this to the attention of his and/or your Aussie mates, no matter what camp they hang out in. You need a dressing down, 'cause the Truth has to hit Home sometime.

Schadenfreude is a German word meaning 'pleasure taken from someone else's misfortune'

A distinction exists between "secret schadenfreude" (a private feeling) and "open schadenfreude" (Hohn, a German word roughly translated as "scorn") which is outright public derision.

That's reserved for celebrities, like Britney Spears, and sells lots of tabloids.

But, whether you like the Kojak-In-Residence or not, he's still your peer.

The real tragedy in this sad state of affairs has been, is and remains; Your unapologetic, indeed, open disdain speaks volumes about your own immaturity, lack of character and quite frankly, lack of class and moral fiber which are all you'll go to the grave with unless you have an eye-opening experience in this life which is far too short.

    Grow up.

Did you goto a public school by any chance Looney?

Shorthand internet words are one thing, but the deliberate misspelling of common english words is just dodgey and really annoying to read! :(
