Yes, keyboard warriors and all that, but find a post where Peter has expressed a similar sentiment? From what I can tell, there isn't even a post that can be found where Peter has called Scud 'Crash'. That's the difference: Peter has never expressed such nasty thoughts to me privately, nor has he posted anything of this calibre directed at Scud (or anyone else), even in the heat of their silly e-fights.

I think Wax nailed it in his post(s) earlier in this thread.

this "incident" occured on another website, far far away. it should have been left there, and any grievances solved directly.

the notion this is "a story that needed to be told" is utter bullsh*t

 

here's a file that has been hanging around that seems to state that someone got some money from someone and then thanked them but still had the morals of an alleycat and led everyone to believe he was ripped off completely

Whether it was posted as a 'Public Service Announcement' or a 'boredom-induced **** stir' is irrelevant, IMHO. I'd be more concerned about the substantive sentiments being expressed at first instance. Whether those comments were made here or there, so what? They should not have been thought, much less said.

i think you should make the distinction between the two motivations for posting the thread roman.

one would be as a result of being genuinely hurt....say a family member was ill and hurtful remarks were made...thats not on

in this case, its clearly a comment that has been grossly blown up and used as an opportunity to sh*t stir.

given this is clearly the motivation, and no genuine hurt has been felt....case closed, someones bored.

 

Aidan, I think you put your foot in it then. I'm not going to say anymore than that, I've expressed my sentiments on this sort of thing previously and most didn't seem to agree.....as the French say "C'est la vie"

 

Of course we don't. But then, some FChat members don't need to hear about V8s or numberplates or anything pre-308 or whatever - so they don't click those threads. If you don't want to hear about the contents of this one, I recommend the same course of action as a highly effective way to achieve that.
