http://www.break.com/index/crazy-kid-does-pull-ups-off-crane.html He is so lucky that nothing went wrong.
Well, that's one way to make yourself keep working harder hahaha. Love the music though, choice it is.
I dunno, stupid as it seems, its management of a risk, they took the risk and are stronger because of it. Must have been an incredible rush to do that.
How much risk do you need to take and, REALLY, how much stronger is he? The risk he took is measurable. If you fail, you die! The "strength" he gained... can't be measured. Perhaps he didn't gain strength at all. Your certainly not physically stronger by doing a few pull ups for one session. Mentally, he MAY be stronger, but it can't be measured and the risk undertaken probably isn't worth it. Of course a persons tolerance to risk varies. He obviously has a tolerance that is off the map. Perhaps it gave him more confidence to perform more crazy **** and kill himself another way. Which in case, the risk he took would have ended up killing him. There are probably more calculated risks to take. I'm just playing devil's advocate! J
A friend of mine in college grew up doing extreme inline skating and had this REALLY haphazard mentality. One night I am studying on the 3rd floor of a building when I look out the window and see some legs hanging from the 4th story moving up and down. I ran outside only to see my crazy friend doing pullups on a rail from the 4th floor. A girl walked out of her room just as he was coming up and he spooked the living crap out of her by just going, "boo!" One slip and it was nearly 50 ft down to the concrete. Now he is finishing up his PhD at CalTech..., lol
I didn't see one good pull up. Get back out there and do them right. Good thing the wire was there because I don't think he could have pulled himself up.
