i didn't see a question anywhere. clearly, we don't speak the same language. go back to post one. you have no problem with that? fine....same moral fibre. i don't have a problem with that.
here it is again Pete, glasses on this time: why do you keep saying he said he HOPES you crash....when all he said was seeing your near miss would have made him laugh? two very different things, stop twisting the facts. if youre ignoring me im sure dingo will reiterate for you
so just in case you're not sure....a thread stays serious for one post usually...sometimes, on a good day, it makes it to a page or even two. i think you probably noticed this went off the rails quite some time back...but it's still good for laughing at the kiddies.
hang on....i never said that i'm not stupid. maybe what i said about you was stupid (it wasn't...it was accurate)....BUT...at least i'm not a vindictive and malicious type who wants to "laugh beyond comprehension" at another's misfortune. THAT's just being sick.
Peter does not need myself or anyone else to explain his comments on his behalf... he's done a good enough job in differentiating between what he said and what Scud has said. Peter never expressed joy if Scud was to crash... just made reference to its inevitability based on past performance. No where does he say, "I'll laugh my backside off when you slip on the ice". Big (but subtle) difference. Furthermore, Scud never said he 'hoped' Peter would crash... he expressed his pleasure if it was to happen. Hence the reference to the phenomenon of schadenfreude.
i still don't think this thread should be deleted. i wish the ff v aircon thread was back. if it's all contained in ONE thread it's quite harmless, and it serves as an expose of some individuals for future reference. (esp the sycophants from renta crowd) like when scud asked me to call him a gunna in the melb car show thread some things are worth remembering....like that time scud said he'd "laugh beyond comprehension" if i bingled my 355ch. have i mentioned i love my car? well i do!
you are reading too far into it, young roman what scud said is he would laugh if he was to witness such a near miss. while were talking about big differences....why dont we remember that bit of fact? big difference between "laughing at a near miss" and "laughing at a crash" as i said earlier...the comment may have been a little dark...but this 'big difference' remains
actually...apparently i do. according to the wise one, scuddles, if people are NOT constantly posting supporting my assertion that what he said was quite shocking, then i'm wrong and he's totally in the right. apparently if anyone posted that "only a low life sicko would laugh at me if i pranged my car" any less than 10 times...no..make that 20 AND support it with pictures of near naked women, then that is proof that i'm all alone in thinking that way. furthermore, if he can get all his buddies to argue with me about it and find posts i've made that are irrelevant, then, in fact, i'm wrong...and laughing at another's misfortunes is just fine and dandy.
have we made the distinction between laughing at a near miss...and laughing at a crash....yet? we keep conveniently skimming over this fact...funny that
see guys, this is what happens when you try posting while on the phone. i wrote it and i STILL had trouble understanding it.
well...any puppets who are still online can keep posting. i'm going to shower. (human interest story of the day)
Sorry mate, wasn't trying to stir, it was just a curiousity i had after coming across it in one of the links in this thread. I meant to post it the thread where you said you bought it, but accidently put it here, i don't want to comment on the arguments going on here, just wanted to ask you that
so do i. i was just reading that CCB thread again. he's such a tool...but totally irresistible at the same time.
past performance of what ? i have done around 900 laps of circuit club days and racing , without a scratch . so it is inevitability that i will continue to crash ? i asked a question which was " gunna stick it in again " ? no harm in that question , and not as bad as the ice remark . when goober makes a comment about captain cockhead from SA , who i don't know , and wishes him misfortune , we just have a laugh . you're missing the point , this is about a guy who has nothing better to do , and can't argue with ff on here anymore , and doesn't get the same bang 4 buck on AE against him . he is looking for anything i say to then dedicate a thread to it , and you have fallen into it , then wishing you hadn't , once i posted the ice link . if i had said the ice comment , and followed up with the laugh comment , you would be saying i was wrong . would pless make the ice comment , and worry about me if it happened ? if he did worry , then he wouldn't of said it . go and blame him for dragging my comment over here , better still , ash should pick up the whole thread , and move it back to AE , we can continue it there . pless doesn't want it to go there , cause he won't be able to get his mod mates to ban me . your judgement is clouded .
Aircon clearly derives much pleasure from trawling the forums, pointing out anything he can to stir and moving from net battle to net battle. On a regular basis he jeers about how such activities are a great source of amusement to him ...I wonder if he realises that this misguided, almost pathetic 'dedication' to the internet, and pleasure he gains from such silly pursuits, is in itself, a source of amusement to others Its an interesting cycle. Small things amuse Aircon...and in turn, this itself is amusing
