I'm sure I am missing something however it does say it was published on 5/02/08 does it not. Am I getting a glimpse of the future?

Europeans order their dates in a day/month/year format, so 5/02/08 means 5 February 2008 (yesterday).

Looks like a Challenge Stradale-599-Hyundai Tiburon infusion.

I believe that, if first written in English, the article might read more like this. (Any other F-chatters who also read Italian are welcome to edit this further, if you feel the need. English is not my first language. ;) )

    Ferrari 2 +2
    COMING IN OCTOBER
    Published on5 February, 2008

At October's upcoming Paris Motor Show, Ferrari is to present a new luxury car, a project which at present - as is always the case when speaking of the House of Cavallino - is strictly Top Secret. And this is precisely the reason that we have recently published certain rumours. Initial reports suggested the unlikely possiblity that the vehicle would be a three-seater, but Maranello insiders swear that the new Ferrari will be a comfortable 2+2.

The latest reports, however, say that this will be a coupe/cabriolet, with a retractable hard top, an idea already considered and rejected by Maserati for what would eventually become the Gran Tourismo. What we do know is that the engine - front mounted - will be an eight-cylinder with direct injection and about 450 hp.

"I photographed it while in trial at Fiorano," wrote our reader Alessio Chiappini. "Compared to the 612 Scaglietti trials on the same track, the car is small, at least 50 cm shorter. Our photographer also captured the new 2+2 (second image) and from the available information have reconstructed (below) what we believe could be its final appearance.

Chinese logic is different. Year/month/day/. I think this makes most sense as the first thing you want to know is the most important. Define the big picture first...
