I am surprised that there are no takers for this 550. Only 84K. http://www.carconnectionsusa.com/cgi-bin/showroom.cgi?mode=show&id=66477&d_id=1177
Dark blue dash with light blue carpets and cuoio seats is plenty of explanation for me! Scary combo..... I'm glad mine looks a bit better on the inside. Onno
rear center cap missing on one wheels in the interior shots and what is up with that door lock latch? looks like someone was trying to get out in a frenzy??? other than that, LOVE that car!
Its a very endearing color combination, very dynamic and youthful as opposed to the usual suspects that I've become accustomed to seeing, reminds me of the 612 Cornes Edition for Japan. S
Sorry gang, but that interior is a doozy. LOVE the exterior, though. That TdF blue is sensational, but you take one look inside and, Whoa Nelly! Looks like a smurf threw up in there. Kinda reminds of when you see a great mane of blonde hair walking down the street with a great body and it turns around, and it's a guy. Yikes! What a downer! ketel
Checked that car out in person and even at that price it is way too high. Some serious issues with that vehicle, exterior, interior and underside.
Well for starters, there are no records or reciepts with the car, except most recent one, and a part of the vehicles prior service history from one owner in the past. No owners manual, one key. As far as the exterior is concerned, there are several scratches, into the undercoat of paint, a few dings on the vehicle, could possible be pulled out by a dent specialist in certain places. Then to the front of the vehicle, quite a few chunks of paint missing. Scratches on trunklid, not a clean panel on the vehicle. Window trim on outside is peeling all over the car. Not all 4 tires match, and right front is wearing uneven from the middle out...seller couldn't answer that one! Shall I go on? Okay, interior has major wear on the driver seat, if you look close on the interior of the picture, the vehicles driver seat looks as though the middle insert is coming apart on the top end. Well it looks that way in person as well. Interior bezels are severely scratched up all over the place. Ashtray broken, gearshift knob has chunks taken out of it, I don't know how the hell that happened! Carpets are faded...badly, car looks as though it spent every day of its life in the sun. Rear shelf is shot completely. Trust me, this car was driven very hard and put away wet!!
Thank you for posting you could have saved an f-chatter a lot of time and money on this car!! This is what makes the forum so great, now someone that is still interested would know to procede with caution as well. Erik
I was the sacrificial lamb in this instance. Fortunately for me it only took a day out of my life to look at the car. Drove a company car down there so gas was free. Stopped at a few other places and saw some great vehicles that day. I just don't think that was one of them...
Yikes! We almost looked at that car, thinking it was a good buy. Ended up with a red one with a perfect exterior, and only very light interior wear. See my other post about engine problem though. Hopefully it will sort itself out, we ordered new cats and x pipe..
Wow, Donzi! That certainly makes that car very overpriced. Thanks for sharing, I hope it helps someone. Onno
