    Well after a wait of total 11 years, finally ordered the 1:12 Revell GTO. It arrived today at the post office, BUT my cousin didn't want to pick it up. So have to wait for another weekend. As soon I have the car, I'll post pics for you all!!

    I would, but it's a she :p That's going to be difficult ;-)

    You should look up on Ebay. Angelnlady sells them, really good service!! Mine is blue/white with the extra light on the car.

    Really nice!!! I received it today (just got it out of the box). I'll take pictures a.s.a.p. It was definitelly worth it. Okay the details are not that great, but like you said. Worth having in a collection!!

    snagged a first run 1:12 GTO in red (on wood base)... coming from France though...

    also... I posted several 1:18's on Ferrariads - go check them out.

    I sold my Revell 1:12 250 GTO because I could not get over the red color on the doors not matching the red color on the rest of the car. Apparently this was a common phenomenon with the red Revell 1:12 250 GTO... The car itself is nice though, particularly when you upgrade it with some of the detail sets that are available.

    nice model!, I remember seeing a blue one with white decals in ebay, but since it was a seller from asia it didn´t gave me much confidence, I´ve had really bad experiences with asian sellers, 3 of 5 didn´t arrived, so I try to avoid them as possible. do you have the same experience?

    Please post more pictures of it!

    Even Asian seller is not so confidence in shipping to South America, sometimes, the parcel arrived the countries in 6-9 days, then it takes a month for the parcel to pass thru the cusom department, especially Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. It is really a nightmare for selling to customers who located in those countries. Indeed, the EMS (Speedpost) is the safest way to ship there, but for high shipping fee, the buyers are not willing to pay it.

    I've bought several cars from outside of the US and generally had good luck. The only one I've had problems with was an F1 car that wasn't in it's own box and got loose during shipping and was damaged - a gamble I knew better than to take, but did anyway - it was from South America. Every model I've bought from Europe or Asia has arrived in perfect condition.

    Mine arrived today... in good shape, but in need of a good once-over (it's pretty dusty). Has anyone taken one apart, I'd like to clean the interior, but don't want to if it'll be too hard to take apart and get back together...

    Yep, came with the original box (in pretty rough shape, but intact)
