F50 over the F40, only for the top down option.

If by service no object, you mean the car is somehow magically totally dependable for infinity, than a SWB 250GT California Spyder.

Now if cost/service was an object, 1989 328 GTS

I agree with nirvana - f50 wide, low, open top, extreme, and exotic - everything a Ferrari should be in my mind.

612 Scag with manual gearbox. If I can only have one I want to be able to drive it with friends and family and go on road trips in comfort.

What do you want to do with it? If a daily or frequent driver, the 550/575 makes a lot of sense for a GT: the 360/430 as a sports car. As an icon you just look at or show, all of the above.

Does this hypothetical question assume that Ferrari production will cease today? Because you never know what is coming down the pipeline!

If production stopped & I had to pick from existing F cars...

    ***1994 348 Spider***

It is highly tunable/modifyable (in case I ever got bored) and just the right balance of modern & heritage!!!

What you do with it is your choice/problem or what "it" is limited in doing (ie passengers) is well ...essentially a rub.

The essential question is "if you only have one bullet to fire"... what would you do.

The cars is/will be what it is today...it's not magically more reliable than it is/was at any other moment in it's life.....

The only magic in the question is you have the $ to choose any one you want....but only one.

Lot more F-40's than I would have thought BTW.

i thought about the f50, but i'll have to go with the 250 gto, once again for the obvious reasons, but the main reason for me is that basically the history of ferrari can be summed up in this car. nothing beats the ability to drive it to the track and then win
