My wife and I were talking about that too....I think that it is either Sawyer or Ben.

 

No way its Sawyer. If it was Sawyer's casket, wouldnt Kate go? Remember also that there is a 3 year gap in time between on island and that flashforward. So it could be someone we haven't met yet.

Last nights episode was great. I bet those people work for the Hanso Foundation (who funded Dharma) and have been trying to get back to the island ever since the purge.

 

The airplane underwater with the dead pilot looked so fake. I can't tell if it's supposed to look fake as if it was planted there to throw people off and believe everyone is dead or if ABC is really bad at doing miniature models and CG. I'm thinking the latter since the helicopter in the storm looked REALLY fake. Almost cartoonish. Can't believe that after they made the smoke monster look pretty realistic (of course assuming that's what it would look like ).

 

I'm with Patrick. Kate would go to his funeral. Besides, when she met Jack at the airport, she said HE would wonder where she was, like Jack would know who HE was. Sawyer?

Hurley, Kate, jack, sawyer are who i am fairly sure or the oceanic 6.

Im going to almost say its a certainty that Kate is not an Oceanic 6. Although she may be back, wouldnt she be in jail. I think the reason Jack is secretive when he meets Hurley in the psych ward, is because he wants Kate to remain hidden and he wanted to make sure Hurley didnt tell anyone.

 

What if she were to claim to be one of the other passengers (Ana Lucia) and simply disappear in the airport?

according to the producers, Kate is one of the six. also, next week's episode is centered around Sayid, so I'm guessing he will be the next to be revealed as one of the six.

 

man, there are so many things i want to know about that show... like who is the guy in the cabin??

one weekend, i think i might rent every episode and watch them all back to back.. sit my butt on the couch and eat pizza all day

The "man" is Jacob, supposedly the leader of the "others". Ben takes Locke to meet him, Ben shows Locke a chair that Jacob is supposed to be sitting in but Locke doesn't see anything and as Locke leaves he hears someone (Jacob) speak to him. That excites and then pisses off Ben. (Side note: if you get the season 3 DVD's, on the episode DVDs it says "Jacob loves you")

It might take more than a weekend to watch them all but it will take you far less time to get hooked.

 

already beat you to that! never watched season one and two so i rented them and now own season three and NO ONE is allowed to talk during season 4 episodes...love it!

 

Oh on what ones does it say "Help me"? I haven't seen that but I have seen the "Jacob loves you", it might not be on all of them though.

 

As Loc is in the cabin, he hear's a faint whisper of "help me!". then ben gets mad and shoots him (eventually).

Ha-ha, wow, doh moment! OK, I get what you meant. Yes he does say "Help me" in the cabin but I meant it physically says "Jacob loves you" on the artwork for the DVDs, not in the show.

 

Saeed working for Ben in the future.. WTF?

 

That episode was just wow.

Sayid has always been my favorite character, so I was pretty pumped at how awesome that was.

Why do they keep saying they are one of 8 survivors of the crash when there were way more than 8 people that survived. I missed something. Things are getting really strange this season.

 

Jack said 8 survived the crash, but two of them died while Kate tried to save them (this is all made up on his part). I think you're referring to the "Oceanic 6." We don't know why they said only 6 survived. I'm guessing the rescue ship or something we'll find out in the future picked up 6 of them. Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, and two others. I don't count Ben as he was never on the Oceanic flight. They don't want to say there are survivors left on the island for the gov't or someone to go back after them. Maybe the people on the boat want it kept under wraps. Who knows.

 

Do you count Aaron? If you do then there is only one more left as I assume that Kate's baby is Claire's baby and not just his namesake.

 

Nice catch. I didn't even notice that (I don't pay attention to babies, lol). Now I think the baby isn't hers anymore. When I saw that it had blond hair, I figured it was unlikely to be Jack's kid. Considering he's brunette/black and so is Kate, it would be unlikely that the two of them are blond recessive genetically and each passing their blond trait to the kid to make him blond.

Then again, how would she explain the kid is hers? Conceived on the island or before her flight in Australia and then gave birth on the island? No wonder Jack looked uncomfortable talking about the kid. He doesn't want to act like a father for a kid that isn't his or Kate's for that matter. Lost keeps getting weird.

Btw, when did that trial take place? 3 or 4 years after the crash and the kid is 2 years old now? Looked pretty big and was talking.

 

I was thinking it was kate and sawyer's baby, hmm....
