You already missed that date anyway. I believe the P4/5 showed up on the 21st of January if memory serves. Peter Hatch
Mr. G P 4/5 seems to visit a lot of events, it also seems that maybe some of these events pay you to have P 4/5 there. Correct me if that incorrect At the same time P 4/5 is copyrighted by you, but has appeared on product boxes and the likes and with a possible P 4/5 model coming to market do you ever foresee making a profit on the car or making your money back off the deals?
Pay me to have P 4/5 there? Nope. Some events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed have paid expenses (For my MK-IV in 1998 and 2000 but not except for providing a rental car last year for P 4/5) Occasionally an event will pay for shipping or provide a Hotel room but the vast majority of the costs have been payed for by me. There are no authorised/ licenced P 4/5 products and I receive no revenue from them. At some point there may be a model but the amount of money that would flow to me would be deminimus. P 4/5 will never be for sale in my lifetime nor will what it may or may not be worth ever have any effect on my kids. I think that covers it.
Yeah I was unsure about the events and I thought I had read about P 4/5 being used in ads/box art C&D calendar a few post up was one of them Whats the word on the model and what scale is it to be? I would love to see a 1:8th scale model of P 4/5
Most American's are motivated in life by much much more than money. Those few that are motivated solely by money just happen to make the news much more than the rest. Jim is like most Americans(only much wealthier), he does what he can to make the world around him better with what he has to offer and tries to enjoy himself while doing it.
I didn't know you were a movie guy. You should make a racing movie with the P4/5 in it. Who cares about a plot or actors, just have a bunch of chase racing scenes with that car. I'd watch it
What ever happened to the website that Walter(?) was working on for the P4/5? www.ferrarip45.com I think it was... I sent him an email fairly recently about it with no reply. Any idea Jim? Peter Hatch
I'm pleased to report that the Enzo parts we didn't need have sold on and will be used to help a great Enzo to Ride again.
Our webcast show, Garage 419, did an interview with Jim and the P4/5 down at Palm Beach Supercar Weekend, and though the questions were geared mainly for the masses, here's how it came out: www.garage419.com Jim, thanks so much for talking with us!
Perhaps you wish to keep this as a surprise, Mr. G, but might those parts have sold on to Mr. Losee?? Indeed, they could not have been passed to a more fitting owner.
