Anyone know how to safely remove the adhesive from the clear shipping stickers that held down the doors and lids on a diecast? I received a AA Murci for Christmas and just now realized that I can't get the damn glue off.

I tried my old WD-40 method but no go,any ideas would be appreciated

I use Testors paint thinner, applied with a Q tip and then wiped off with a clean rag.

Goo Gone would be best. Most effective and safest of all. Plus your model would smell nice too. ;)

The alcohol worked but there was still abit of glue haze on paint. I rolled the dice and tried Meguires cleaner and gold class wax and it shines like the orange of the sun!

Thanks for all the suggestions citizens!

    Good evening..
