FCA New Mexico Chapter

After a lot of work, our chapter is now becoming a reality. On Sunday March 26, 2006 we will be meeting in Albuquerque to approve our club by-laws and elect officers.

If anyone is interested in joining us for lunch, it will be held at 12:00 noon.

Congrats on getting this together. Do you have a NM website? Please include me in your email messages and calendar. I take a couple trips a year to NM and would love to plan around a Ferrari Event.

The website and the calendar of events is on the works. As for adding your email to my list, considered done.

Our next event will be held in Sante Fe, NM on April 30th at 12:00 noon. We will be getting together for lunch at the Bishop's Lodge Resort (www.bishopslodge.com). If you are planning to be in NM, please join us. We should have our calendar ready by that day.

Let me know the dates for the Concorso Arizona, as we are planning to attend.

Looks like a great starter gathering. I'm in Santa Fe for a few days on business but will miss the event on the 30th.

Out of curiosity, are there Ferrari-capable dealers and independents in ABQ/Santa Fe? I've toyed with the idea of getting a home in the SF area and keeping the 328 there.

Unfortunately, there is no Ferrari dealer in NM, and I'm yet to find a qualified independent mechanic, that I would recommend.

I was cuising fchat and figure I would see if there are any NM fchatters as I am from Ftown. Sure enough not only some NM chatters but one from my hometown! You ever get to take that 328 out to the bisti and really open her up? I miss the ftown but not the lack of Ferrari dealers/mechanics.

I know this is an old thread but was wondering if the NM F-club has a website yet? I have a home in Ojo Caliente and visit frequently. Just bought a 360 F1 Modena and would love drive it in my favorite part of the world.
