can anybody identify the attached image? it appears to have six exhaust pipes, in addition to the extended rear fascia. also, the rocker panels look to be at about wheel-hub height, suggesting some very strange suspension settings. thanks!

Ummmmmmm.....jack stands under the front? It looks like they have already salvaged the engine.

But "Welcome!" and thanks for posting the picture! Looks like that one ran a little TOO fast for someone.

Those bling 22" rims are why the rear height looks so wierd, IMO.

even if the elevated front is because of no engine and jack stands in front, the rear fascia would drag on the ground if the rocker panels were anywhere near "normal" elevation.

There are also jack stands under the rear. I think I can see one stand at the right rear.

Probably why it wrecked, too. Take a corner that you're used to taking, but now with your new 22" bling rims, one rubs when you turn the steering wheel as far as you did before with the stock rims; the rubbing upsets the suspension and freaks out the driver...boom!

A 1997 550 Maranello, S/N 110902, as per a recent issue of FORZA: In 2002, another Swiss client commissioned Sbarro to reinterpret a 550 Maranello (s/n 110902). The engine, chassis and interior remained unmolested, but the body was reworked, retaining only the stock roof. The rear end was widened a little under six inches, a new skirt with six exhaust outlets was installed and custom-made 345/30ZR-19 Michelin tires were fitted on OZ Racing wheels. The front was widened about five inches, while the headlight surrounds were painted body color. Despite the extensive bodywork, the 550 XXL was the Sbarro creation most easily recognizable as the original Ferrari model. Unfortunately, it was destroyed in a road accident. Similarly, a second, subtly different example of the 550 XXL has been spotted in Switzerland, and a third is rumored to have been built, as well.

Looking at Sbarros previous work, this car isn't wrecked but meant to be like this, right?

I'm sure a company the likes of Espera Sbarro would adress such an issue with due care. They aren't your run of the mill backyard tuner. I'd say it was rather driver error.
