360 BRAKE PAD CHANGE INSTRUCTIONS

Pretty easy to do. Just push the pins through the caliper toward the center of the car, and then remove them. I used a punch and a hammer. Then remove the spring, spread the pads to push in the pistons, remove and replace one pad at a time, and then reverse. On the fronts you'll have to disconnect the wear sensor if you're not going back to stock pads. It unplugs near the shock, and has a small bracket you have to remove.

Do a search, there was an excellent thread in the 360/430 section not long ago covering this topic. I have switched to the Porterfield R4 pads, you can buy them from Daniel at Ricambi for half the cost of the OEM pads. You will just need to move and secure the wear sensor, not a big deal. The R4 pads have done well for me on the track with little to no fade, however, it is recommended that you use the race pad which is the R4S, they are a little noisey for daily driving so just change them back out when done at the track. The R4 make zero noise and like I said are half the cost of the OEM.

^ Should be other way around. R4 = race compound. R4S = street compound. Both are great pads Robert is absolutely correct.. the race pads (R4) are not intended for daily street use. They don't build heat quickly enough, and you might be surprised first-thing-in-the-morning when your brakes don't stop adequately at Starbucks.

The Porterfield street pads have low dust to keep the wheels clean. The stock pads put out so much dust that the wheels get darker after just one drive.
