As some of you are aware I have been looking at the market on Maserati Ghiblis. The market has gotten too hot and the good ones have gone to Europe. I am aware of the one at Carlo's. The owner doesn't seem to be interested in addressing the status of his car.

As an alternative I have spent the last 8 months following the market TR's and until recently I thought I had a chance for a nice one but the owner decided to keep it.

Is there anyone on the fence about selling their "off-color" TR?

    1. NO BLACK CARS and I wouldn't mind something besides red unless it is above average.. My 308 was yellow and I loved it.

    2. All-black interiors a minus but black-dash cars a plus.

    3. Naturally a post 88.5 car would be preferred but I would consider a pre-88.5 if it was above average.

    4. I would prefer a car that was originally from the western half of the US or has spent most of it's time here.

    5. I am interested in a less-than-perfect car cosmetically with decent mechanicals. A "service due" car might be considered.

    6. After-market exhaust OK. After-market wheels OK. Tinted glass OK. Sound system OK

The money is in the bank just sittin'.....................................

    Shoot me a PM!

    Thanks, DJ

It's too bad that people have discovered the Ghibli driven prices throught the roof. I remember seeing a convertible less than 3 years ago for something insane like 40k. Oh well. Good luck on the TR, great car and back to the Ferrari brand.

The Euro may be strong right now but they are paying 80k to 100k for Ghiblis that were on the market three years ago for 30-40k.

    The tides will turn eventually.......................

Yes, I have followed all of the threads on it and watched it on ebay. I thought it sold a couple of weeks ago.
The 512TR differential is a big plus as long as it's documented. I like the auxiliary, fan-cooled circuit board up front. Very good idea.

Too bad it's in Florida. (It would probably cost over 3k just to get it here).

DJ....I'l call Brandon Lawernce at Sports Cars Italiano in Burlingame tomorrow am and see if he can shake anything loose. I got my 87 from him 3 years ago and felt he treated me right. Good car, good history, good price.
