Anyone need these at a reasonable price...OK, far less than the vendors that are selling them for $190. I'm almost 100% I just found some at $99 each, but I need to buy their remaining inventory of 10 units.

Drop me a PM if you're interested....

    Thanks,
    David

You mean the ones that are identical to the ones in the BMW 633 / 635 series?
BMW still sells them at about $30.....

Except, here in the Colonies, 99.9% of the time BMW shows this part as NLA and most of the Ferrari supplies here either can't provide them or want $190 for them. These are the same switches that many owner's just can't seem to find...regardless of price.

Might fit some 308s, the 328 switch is different & I think NLA.

Any change you saved the BMW number off the box. My car (1980) didn't come with power mirrors and I sure would like to add them.

No bet! I just said it LOOKS like the 328 switch. Got me if it is... Need to find someone with a 635 and see if it matches.

I wonder if the 308 switch could be adapted for the 328. There doesn't look to be much difference in form or function.

Someone with a good electrical background might be able to do it; tracing out the circuit board and adapting the connectors. Sounds like a job for Verell! ;) I have a broken switch if anyone would like to play with it.

As an update, the switch is still available and cost around $60 depending on dealer and begging skills.

People I wish you would do a thread search before posting!!!

This has been done to death!!!!

FYI see thread "328 Mirror Switch"......both the 308 QV/Momdial qv/3.2.and 412i AS WELL AS 328 MIRROR SWITCHES ARE BMW PARTS, ALTHOUGH DIFFERENT AND OFF DIFFERENT BMW MODELS-read this thread......please!!!!!

    Thank you......

Not at all Joe! We don't have Cheerios here down under -LOL

This issue is becoming like timimg belts, repetative, boring and being done to death!!!

Not too mention clogging up space. Thats why theres a search thread function on this forum.....people just need to be educated to use it.....or some I think are just plain lazy??

    Have a nice day!

    Cheers

    Pete

Dude you are missing of the greatest breakfast cereals of all times. Well Honey Nut Cheerios at least. But if you have children regular Cheerios will keep the little buggers busy for an hour trying to pick them up!

I posted that picture and price in this thread because way back I was the one who posted the part numbers for the 308 mirror switch and possibly the 328 mirror switch. I personally hate having to jump around threads to find all the info.

And there is no WAY ANY THREAD is done to death like a timing belt thread!

BTW, isn't it like 4am for you right now?!?

As should you, because the 328 switch is NOT a BMW part.

    Hmmmm

Oz breakfeast cereals Vs U.S. ones.....We got rice bubbles, cocoa pops and exclusive to Oz....Weet Bix.....Yeah Baby.....LOL

    Its 7.00am here....dawn at 6.00am....beautiful day!

I guess I'm frustrated because as a former parts interpreter and Fcar owner the stuff about 308/328 mirrors keeps coming up....it ain't no secret....lots and lots of Fcar bits from the 80's interchange with BMW/Alfa and Fiat.....I keep telling people....but some people, especially people here, will only buy parts that come in the little yellow box and pay through the nose......
