i know theres a few people with the ferrari 4, and some that have all the mid 90s ones (somewhere in the mid east? old pics?) Does anyone own "all" of the supercars? whos the closest? ferrari enzo F50 F40 288GTO 90s Mclaren F1 Porsche GT1 Mercedes CLK-GTR Jag Xj220 Bugatti EB110 others? modern Carerra GT Saleen S7 Pagani Zonda Koinegsegg bugatti Veyron maseratti Mc12 SLR if you count that (im sure i forgot a couple)
I guess it was the Sultan / Prince Jeffri who owned such a complete collection in the 90s. Perhaps M Bin Sulayem is the closest collector today
I'd have to agree, though I heard the collection belonged to his brother, and that these days, a lot of the collection has actually been sold off. I'd have to see Mr. L comes pretty close. As far as I've seen, he's got a: Aston Martin Vanquish Bugatti Veyron Ferrari 288 GTO Ferrari 599 GTB Ferrari Enzo Ferrari F40 Ford GT Lamborghini Murcielago 6.2 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Porsche Carrera GT Saleen S7 Twin Turbo Just to name a few. In all honesty, I don't see a lot of folks who come as close. But his collection is far more than supercars. The man has a taste for cars from an Audi RS4 to a gigantic array of American Muscle. I imagine if the Zonda & Koenigsegg were easier to acquire in the US, he'd probably have 1 if he wanted.
The Sultan family lack the newer supercars, while Sulayem only has some of those. On a sidenote though - that list is a bit incomplete. Where are the Lambos? 962 (Dauer, Schuppan, Koenig Specials, DP Motorsposrts)? 959?...
i dont really consider any lambos as super cars... they're sort of mass produced in comparison. the rest are more like experiments are they not? just a couple built? otherwise youd also include SCC, molser, etc...
I don't consider anything with less than 12 cylinders a "supercar". Or anything powered by an engine that was formerly used in something built by someone else. Isn't it interesting how subjective the definition can be.
And how many Porsche GT1s, Zondas, Koenigseggs, MC12s or CLK GTRs would you say were built then? I wouldn't inlcude SSC (Mosler maybe) as its a company/car nowhere nearly as famed and renowned as the others.
Yes indeed! I dont have a complete idea of what all the collection consists of, but the number of cars contained is unbelievable!
im not too familiar witht he ones you posted. The koinegs seems to be modified F cars right? The ones i psoted (gt1, clk-gtr, etc.) are by mainstream" or at least familair makers. The others seem like prototypes that never caught on  If you want to throw in everyone whoes made their own car before youd likly have a LONG list no one could possibly complete. Like that goofy canadian thing with a big block chevy. Where the ones you listed production cars? i dont know.
You mean to tell me Porsche and Lambo aren't mainstream or familiar companies in the supercar industry?? And we're talking about the cars, not the whole company. So, let's see: Porsche GT1 (all three versions) ~25 Pagani Zonda (all versions) ~50 (? not sure on this one, surely less than 100) Koenigsegg (CC8s, CCR, CCX, CCXR) ~30 (? not sure on this one either, but again surely less than 100) Maserati MC12 ~50 Mercedes CLK GTR (coupe/roadster) =30 Bugatti EB110 (GT/SS) ~110 Now, for the ones I listed Lamborghini Diablo ~3000 962 (I'll include all makers as a whole) ~20 Porsche 959 ~280 As you see the cars I gave examples of equal or greatly outnumber the ones proposed by you, so no, they weren't just experimental prototypes by little known companies that never caught on
diablo no 962 - Theres no one maker? that doesnt count does it? maybe that can be extra credit 959 - i could see that one sure...
They would also have to have a Reventon on order I would also maybe go old school and say to add a BMW M1, Vector, and Cizeta to the list. I doubt anyone has ALL of the above.
Yes, there is no single maunfacturer of the 962, but then again its a very well known car amongst car afficionados. Dauer probably has the most made... somewhere in the 'teens. As for the Diablo I think most people would disagree
