I'm hoping a few people could help me with some information about Scuderia Ferrari drivers and statistics. This is for my 'Economics of Sports' class, I am trying to find data on winning percentage (or points) in correlation with salary expenditures for the team for several years (min 10 yrs). I'm thinking I will most likely correlate the salary with either the number of Championships won or pole positions of the team. I am having quite difficulty trying to find Driver Salaries; I've only been able to come up with Masa, Raikkonen, and Schumacher so far. I'd love to go back all the way to the 1950's, however, I've been reluctant to find salaries for Ascari among others, so I'll be happy with date from 8-10 years back. I've been using GrandPrixStats.com as my main source, but are there any other sites Fchatters use/prefer? I'm hoping there's someone on this board thats an F1 Guru.
F1 salaries aren't the easiest to find, especially back 20 or 30 years ago. Go to Autosport.com and click the forums, you will find a wealth of information about anything and everything racing. Someone there can give you answers. B.
