Good luck. I used the kit from Ricambi. Hill bearings are much better. Get your water pump rebuilt from the guy in Mississippi.

Another successful do-it-yourself engine removal. Oh this is really nice to see more and more brothers doing their own work. Great job!

Now is a very good time to get rid of those cats and put a set of Hyperflows on.

Also don't forget to do the engine mounts whilst it is out.

It is so easy to do whilst the engine is out you will save yourself time and money.

Also check the shocks and flamblocks whilst out as these are easily done as well.

    Also CV boots.

Great job! I'm jealous of all that room in your garage, I'm squeezed into a corner. Great thing about doing it yourself is you can take time to do a ton of other small things. Heck my engine has been out for over a month and I haven't ordered my kit yet :D

+1. I'd also do a leak down test to make sure you don't have any problems

Got the engine back in the car......What a pain in the a$$. :( I'll have a couple of pictures soon. Used VHT for the valve covers. Four valves needed shims. One cat was gutted??? One looked fine. Changed them out along with a new Stebro muffler. Did some much needed detail work. Not sure I would ever do it again.
