Howdy Texas Fchatters. First let me say I miss my old home a great deal (lived in Austin 1986-1998, UT Class of '98. Parents still there...) Funny story. Call up my best friend from college today to chat and catch up. He says "guess what I saw Thursday night!?" Turns out he took his wife to Sullivan's on valentines and saw a red Enzo parked outside. Anyone on here? Anyway, whoever you are, nice car, and keep the shiny side up.
There are a couple of Enzo's here in Austin as I understand... I know of one for sure. Don't know if the owner is an F/C guy or not. Also has a Porsche GT3, and probably many other cars too if he has those!
We have 2 or 3 Enzos in town. All red. One person lives in Houston & Austin so that car is here sometimes but I think it's in Houston most of the time. One of the Austin Enzo owners is a female. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks guys. If the info is not "confidential", PM me who the names of the owners, or at least affiliation -- this is pure curiosity, so if the owners are not well known and would rather keep that private, that's fine. Cheers! J.
I think I might have met her... The one time maybe a year or so back I came down to visit my mom in Austin, there was a meet near the capitol. First time I met you TexasMike, I think. I remember a beautiful black 355B. Looked impeccable. I think there was a woman with the car, I thought I met her...
The info of one of the owners is most definitely confidential. Please don't post or try to guess the name(s) or affiliations on FChat. The person that I was referring to as living in Austin & Houston is Dahr. His name is already all over the Internet so I'm not saying anything that people don't already know. The third person doesn't come out to many of our events, yet. He's a very friendly guy but I don't think he wants his name all over the Internet. He's a race car driver and the Enzo his his first & only Ferrari.
Yep, that was her. She has one of the funniest license plates, especially since she usually mounts it upside down!
Got it thanks Mucho! It was already taken care of...just noticed that. Thanks Mod! Most appreciated! James
Mike I LOVE your car! It just looks TOO TASTY! I would love a ride some day, but frankly I am pretty sure I can't get in it! DANG IT! Maybe just a shrieking drive by at full throttle redline will have to do for me! Sure looks BEAUTIFUL! I did not know we had a female Enzo owner here! That is COOL! There is a lady that owns (or used to own) a 512BBi. I know she LOVED that car...not sure if she still has it or not. I had seen it up at Moorespeed a few times when I would come up to check on my race car! Thanks for posting the pics Mike! Hey, is that F40 here in town too? Where were those pics from? Out at the Driveway? James
James, I don't own a Ferrari. I'm just a huge enthusiast and I happen to be at the right place at the right time. I think I could probably get you a ride in an Enzo. The Enzo would probably give you better access to the seat than most car would since the door moves up out of the way. One of the owners is know for giving rides at the track. He gave me and several others a spin around the track. Dana gave me my first ride in a Ferrari and it was in her 512BBi. She has since sold both of her Ferraris and moved on. Yes, that's an Austin F40 and the pics are from the Driveway.
I have not been up close and personal with an Enzo, but I have seen the various lambo doors and they don't get out of the way enough...I hit my head on the bottom of the door. Dana, YES, that is her name. Can't believe she actually sold the 512! I think she had it for sale when David was working on my car but I never actually thought she would sell it! James
Ha ha ha... Funny but true. Very well put. That said, I certainly respect what TexasMike said in his post. I was certainly not trying to make public information that should remain private.
Some people are private but in Dahrs' situation he has been all over the internet for years since he wrecked his car and is the son of a billionaire attorney so its well known who he is and what he drives....I think he plays in a band too but that takes a back seat to driving an Enzo
Yup, I remember that. Somehow I usually end up a step too late on those things. I remember how fortunate I have been in the past to get a ride in a couple other super cars due to this. But that's the past. . . The gentleman you are referring to is a good person.
