If the front of that ended up on a Fisker, or a Bimmer, no one would question it. The rear is just hideous though.

Its built by PISA of Scottsdale Arizona which does the ZR2 kit, something that looks like a Ferrari F40, a Detomaso Pantera look alike called the scorpion, and a cool Off roading fiero kit.

All of them are actually orginal designs for the fieros.

Very gay too. Who would drive that thing? Drop a 5.0 in that Miata and kick real Vipers' asses.

Because the Viper owner will be laughing too hard to take you seriously? When has anyone ever built a good Viper replica anyways?

A real Viper owner will first drop a couple Fbombs first long before the race even begins.

Viper replicars are more popluar overseas especially in the UK and Japan. But there has been a few attempts waaay back in the day when it was hard to get one. Most where based on the L98 Corvettes from the 80's, a few where based on the third Gen fbodys, of course a Miata and there was one based on a Stealth/3000GT.

    Here's one for sale http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C06530/

    and another one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/248834.htm

    www.fierofactory.com they build viper replica's.

Of which none of those look good. They can't seem to replicate the rear pillars correctly.

Because replicating a Viper is dumb. Miata with a 5.0= Q-ship. Miata with 5.0 and lame-ass Viper replica panels= weak attempt to be something it's not.

If you can't afford an exotic, just admit it. I did. I was the only guy to admit not owning a Ferrari in a "Do you own a Ferrari?" thread here. No one got snobby with me.

Ill tell you one thing building a Honda civic to be faster than a viper is fun but building a clone to be much faster than an orginal I think is something that hasn't been done yet and has alot of potentual to be something diffrent on the road than 90% of the customcars out there.

Its also not about can't you afford an exotic, let me tell you if you want a lamborghini replica you better have the bouget of a lotus esprit otherwise you'll be building a terrible replica. People need to realize that kitcars and replicas are a part of the automotive industry very much like custom muscle cars, imports, exotics. Basicly homebuilt supercars a hobby like anything else automotive related, id build a nasty looking replica, stick a big block chevy motor in it and lets see who wants to run their mouths then:D. Fancy that a Viper replica with a huge engine in a miata id love to see some yahoo talk trash then.

I build kitcars/replicas for me, not to please anyone else so I can really careless if they want to run there mouths. there's plenty of Lotus super7's out there that are capable of beating some of the best real exotics out there for much less than what it takes to mod a civic.

That is almost impossible to replicate which is why even the best replicas will have crappy pillars.

But that orange abomination is not a Viper clone. It's a Viper wannabe. It doesn't look like a Viper. It looks like a Miata with self-esteem issues. A clone is a Lola T-70 made with original tooling. I think it would be wild to have a Lola T-70 made from original tooling with EFI and 600hp.

Really? It's really not about the money? Come on, man. It's all about the money. Just deal with it. I drove by Austin Lotus twice today. That dark candy blue Esprit sure did look nice. I'd choose a real Esprit over a fake Lambo any day of the week. You know why? Because I like the car and I don't give a damn if someone thinks...or says...it's not a real exotic. I also don't give a damn if someone knows that I can't afford a Lambo. I honestly believe, despite your protests, that you like fakes because you think of them as "affordable exotics".

Really? You found some category in which a flyweight car can beat an Enzo? A car that's so lightweight that there's a real limit to how much horsepower it can use? It sounds like you're running your mouth and you want to impress someone other than yourself.

Almost impossible? Why is that? Can't they set a contour gage on a real Viper and scale it the the base car? That just makes it a half-assed replica.

Yeah but taking something that obvously is fake to the strip and droping a giant chevy bigblock in it is something alittle orginal I have yet to see one of those terrible looking replicas hit it up at the strip:D I think it would be awsome to do something like cause nobody hasn't done it yet and it is an orginal idea.

Remember building any car is a money pit and the only way a replica will become a good looking a car like its real counterpart and thats if you invest time and money(Lots of it) into this project. Look at chip foose or any of those hotrodders, they take some old 60's muscle car and invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into those things:D and the end results is amzing yet its not there personal design they just modified someone elses. I wouldn't call it an "Affordable" exotic cause anything with that term replica or not isn't going to be affordable you will pay the price regardless if its orginal or not. Personally Id take a Lotus Esprit in fact iam looking into one as my next car but I think id have alot of fun building a Lamborghini in my garage even if its a fakey. Homemade Lambo is more of the term id like to use.:D

Well thats thing with kitcars again if you have the money littarly your building your own supercar in your garage. Kitcars aren't production vehicles so there is no rules nor no offical specs on these vehicle because thats all up to you. If I wanted to I can build an Ultima or a GTM that would kill a Veyron or practically any supercar on the market. If the check book permits you can make anykit whatever you really want even if it is "Fake" it would be a one of a kind gem cause there wouldn't be another one out there like it.
