    Hey guys,
Anyone here try to upgrade to the Carbo Ceramic Brakes after the delivery?
Any experiences? Maybe we can co-ordinate a group buy?

Does each mean that we multiply by 2?
That would put the Discs at $20K, Pads at $2.8K and Calipers at $12K. For a total of $33.8K.
Sounds very high. Did I get that right?

just go with a brembo big brake kit instead. You'll save a ton of money and still have krazy stopping power!

I enquired about doing this, thinking about upgrading my braking and adding a little resale value.... thinking that the price would come in just slightly higher than the factory option price....

The F dealer quote was a little over $36,000.00. Non-starter. Note that the upgrade package also includes an installed computer program to measure rotor wear which takes into account ambient temperature, vehicle speed and deceleration G force and frequency to track the thermal stress subjected to the rotor and calculates wear as the CC rotors will physically fail, fracture if they are run beyond there wear limit.... CCM to not show wear. I agree that the Brembo package is probably the best way to go... I have a similar set up on my 355 which provides unbelievable braking at about 1/4 the price.

If you insist on CCM, sell your current car and purchase another 430 with the factory installed CCM.

    My thoughts, not yours...
