I recently got bit by the model bug when I went searching for a solid model of my car and ended up buying a 1:18 UT F355 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140201345566). I love it but I was a bit disappointed that it was creme as opposed to tan interior wise. I then came across the IXO F355 (http://www.ixomodels.com/index.php/car/popup/803) which looks perfect but I have a few questions for anyone that owns one.

Is it F1 or 6 speed?
Are the side / fender shields (by the side mirrors) decals? I'd like to remove them to get them as close to my car as possible
Hows the overall quality and detail compared to the UT?

Thanks in advance for the help, this is pretty fun stuff -- I just bought a Kyosho 1:18 575 GTC and am about to buy a UT 1:18 Mclaren F1 XP1 LM :)

Well now, that's disappointing. Anyone have any suggestions for a better (does it even exist?) 1:18 F355?

No---UT was the best available for the 355 series. HW is coming out with a 355 Elite version later this year, but who knows what that will look like given HW reputation... You can always have one custom made to look exactly like your car with options... That is what I had done--pics of it here--the yellow 355F1

Thanks for the info and wow I'm jealous, your model came out fantastic, it perfectly matches your real car. If you don't mind my asking, about how much did having it customized cost you? Also is lucky_13_2002 still doing it or was it a one off?

Gotta agree. I'm sure HW's will be junk.
