Looks great! Did you take those wheels from the Wiesmann Roadster by Revell? I have two of those Wiesmanns and the rims look to be the same as those on your 599. Could you tell me how you attached them to the 599? I'd like to swap mine to my Hotwheels F430, but I don't want to ruin anything.

Ok thanks. I don't like to glue since I'm not sure if things will get messed up if I ever try to remove the wheels again.

just got a mail shell-ferrari, there doing a tour of india
and they are using 2 612s in this livery, like they did in china,
it would be great if mw brought them out in the elite version.

I would rather see them as a BBR 1:18 set.

I slipped pics of this in my post about the base insert I need, but thought it would be more at home here.

I think SLK made the kit, it need to dull coat the wing still, but other then that this is all I think I will do to it.
It needs cleaned, and I have some decals I need to throw on it as well.

    Here something new from me.
    The green is really "alive"
The wheels are my moldings of the 355 Challenge rims and the brake calipers are painted yellow. The interior sports the usual carpeting and better shifter details. Also some custom seats. They are moldings of the option seats from the UT 355GTS but have been modified to have the horizontal ribs, to mimic the stock 355 seats. Also an "aluminum" footrest has been added in the passenger side.
It is on its way to its new owner and there are more coming.

Ive never done custom models before, so these were my first attempts on a boring weekend.
The 430 is just a wheel custom and the F40's were full body/wheel/engine repaint and such. Did the F40's in Flat Black with White wheels, ive always liked that look and ive never seen them done before, so i went with it. I know i need more work, but its a start. Any comments will be great as im really looking to take it to the next level.

The Koenig 5 spokes you're after are pretty much the same as the Autoart Lamborghini Diablo SV rims but I wouldn't want to demolish one of those just for the wheels. Instead, get hold of a Motormax Diablo GT (I got one for £1 GBP!). The wheels are the same design but not quite as sharp a moulding as the Autoart versions - you won't be disappointed!

    Lucky,
The 355 looks good. What did you use for the simulated carpet?
    Thanks,
    Will
