Then the guy E-Mails back that the seller wants $175K.

I think I will tell him the reality. I think judging by their site that they are more familiar with Hudsons.

the real question is how complete the car is. what did it look like before the "restoration" began?

without knowing what is all there, the value is a big range

Assembled, complete running and perfect? Sure.

Quite nearly from scratch! It looks like they have the steering wheel which is good. 206 is a rare one...

    Ken.

I think we decided at some point that it's maybe a 5-10% premium. Although not all would agree.

i think in a market where several examples of both are available, there may be a preium. other than the some gts's available for market comparison, there have been few coupes out there at the same time to truely see what the difference was

Aloha....the car is complete and being sold by a friend of the family as the owner passed away. He bought it in 1974 and has had it ever since. Interesting no knock-offs...big chrome nuts??
I would assume it would cost upwards of $10-30k to put it back together assuming the drive train is in good shape. I value my 206 at over 200k and wouldn't sell it at any price...too much fun!

I had the seats and gave them away a year ago at a ridiculous price as they were very hard items to sell.
