It's missing the yellow Dino shop rag, but they are available as repros.........;)

Dude, a complete set of my 308GTB books was asking $5K USD recently, I removed all mine and put them away.

Makes me cry to think of the set that was destroyed by a rear trunk water leak, years ago.......

I don't see the "Dino" script on the outside of the pouch.

I'd also ask for more info on the contents. Each of the items should have a Ferrari catalog number, usually located on the outside rear or inside near the binding edge. These will be in small numbers, for example:
    Dino Operating, Maintenance, Svc 72/72
Spare Parts catalogue valid from 02768 68/72
Additional Instructions for USA Ver 1973 60/72
    Consumer Information 53/71
    Dino 1973 Service Agents 77/73

BTW, another pouch recently sold for $4100

Hope this helps, these are getting to be a BIG investment for owners.

The leather binder on this is identical to the one on my 1977 308GTB. Of course, the contents are different! Blimey, I can't believe how much these are going for. I keep mine indoors at all times, but might move it to the safety deposit box!

with all due respect, i have to note that the seller of this item appears to be the original poster of this thread.

i don't say that to disparage, but it is relevent.

in regards to previous responses, this is a pouch for a uk delivered car. the additional instructions and consumer inof wouldn't be in this pouch from new. however, the owners manual for a serial number like this car, should have a red cover book - not blue.

there is a cloth that is missing and other "RARE" things, but all-in-all, this is a great set to start with and would meet 97% of all dino owner's expectations.

having said this, the warranty book and dealer directory that are included in this set have brough over $1000 each when similar items were auctioned before on ebay. the pouch, if auctioned alone would bring somewhere between $2500 and $3000 by itself. the basic owners books (manual and parts) will bring another $300-450 each in excellent condition. at the current price of $3900, the set is a steal for someone looking to start with a great set and complete it, if needed, later. what it sells for, well that is a different issue. two sets sold in 2007 with much less than this for numbers above and around the $7000 mark.

as with all ebay auctions, it depends on who is watching AND bidding. for a dino owner looking to get a great set of books, this could be a great set to buy. any number less than $5000 is a great deal. these owners manual sets used to come up frequently on ebay, if you could call it that. typically, you would see one set every month or two. in the last two years, there have only been a couple of sets to come up. the cheap sets have been beaten out of the bushes. unless there is a new seller to the market that doesn't realise the rarity of these items, they don't come up for sale. i maybe wrong, but i believe that is the case here.
