Great news for all 2008 Ferrari purchasers of Canadian cars. I just heard there is a drop in the MRSP of all Canadian spec Ferrari's. I will get exact price's next week. Example: 430 F1 Spider with carbon ceramic brakes list price is now $295,000... down from $335,000 for 2007. The 430 Coupe list price starts at $252,000. The 599 starts at 395,000 with ceramic bakes in lieu of $435,000.

It's about time. If Lambo does the same, I'll take a kick in the pants RV-wise but it'll sure make an upgrade much easier. Excellent news

Is there any proof of this? Any official news releases?

Not necessarily proof, but I heard this as well about three weeks ago. Ceramics standard across the board as a no-cost (hahaha) option, and the price reducing on top of that. I was told $15k for a F1 F430 Coupe, on top of the "free" ceramics.

k but at $20,000 a brake job does it really help? and don't forget just because the prices are lowered does not mean you can get one for m.s.r.p....

True, and as for the brakes. I hear the ceramic brakes will be standard soon?

carbon ceramic brakes are standard. this is the first I'm hearing about a price drop...why they would do that who knows the f430s are sold out and bring in premiums. I was offered an f430 coupe at msrp, I declined it. Called them back the next day to see if I can still pick it up and it was sold! I don't think they would drop the prices but thats just my opinion.

funny you mention this, i too am perplexed. I walked into FoO last year and they told me they had only one more 430 for the year and was coming for Sept 2007 and i could spec it out for list price...i think it was 279,999. I walked in there again about 3 weeks later and they said they cant. I went in there in December 07, and they said i could have an 08 for July/August, it was the last one they had that could be had.

I find it odd, but i think this game is starting to get played too often. The reality (i think) if you walk in there with 25K deposit, your getting a car before end of year. The imaginary line i think is over.....the 430 scud, that maybe alittle different. I dont think they will dropping prices either.

This was discussed on a different thread.....and the article is totally misleading.

Sales are not down. Ferari sells every car it makes. They just got fewer cars allocated to the US in January.
