Schu returns as final test gets going

Michael Schumacher's return to action in the new Ferrari F2008 was the main attraction as the crucial final test of pre-season got underway at Barcelona on Monday.

The retired legend has returned for one day in Spain to drive the Scuderia's latest car for the first time, as the champions continue to make the most of the German's vast experience as it gears up for its title defence.

Schumacher tested twice at the end of last season, but this is the first time in which he has appeared on the same day as his replacement Kimi Raikkonen -- with the old and new world champions' relative pace sure to grab attention.

All teams bar Super Aguri are in action for the first of three days at the Circuit de Catalunya, with all cars featuring their Melbourne-spec packages ahead of the season's first race in under three weeks' time.

Yeah No problem, well ehm, i'll create (write) a thread about these tests, but this was a vid thread just as a SPEED has stated, thx for the advice anyway

 

I think the poster of this thread is simply trying to provide up-to-date information.

Schumi's test today is something I have personally been looking forward to hearing about, so seeing an independant thread on the topic with video and up-to-the-minute updates is a very convenient thing.

Not all threads are meant to last forever.
