I had no idea there were so few made or that they were in a class above Peugeot or Panhard. Good call!

We've had 2 tipo 61's, but this looks a bit different, mebbe a 63? Never been in one, looked in though. Pornographic memory, so tubes with shift looks a guess, or is it a Foonman-Douchbag with Bangle body? ;)
Camoradi car has diff gate cover, but wrapped tube barely seen mid right. 63/64 mebbe, here is better pic diff angle. I still have spare 61 shifter quad here somewhere-save everything

    Napolis,

I'm not too familiar with the vintage cars, so excuse the basic nature of these two questions.
Is the metal flip piece on the gated shifter a reverse lock-out mechanism?
Is the hole in the top of flip piece for added weight savings? (that is some pretty extreme measures. if it is).

    Thanks.

Not Jim, but yes, in heat of battle, reverse causes loss of several positions (and pistons).
A few cars have holes, I personally think it was psych factor more than real weight savings.
Cracked blocks in all these cars saved weight :)
Croswaite and Gardiner do nice new castings, all legal at 2-2.5 L I'm sure :D
BTW, Jim, that shift shaft and snap-ring need cleanup, or they'll bind.
Hey, found 008 pics, all a little different
3rd pic is 61. tubes different, quad pretty much same but no line next to it.
Camoradi pic sucked, these are better. Floor tubes diff too, none coming out from L of seat on 61.
    Enough detail?

    Perhaps a 1948 Lancia Aprilia?

Wow, Toggie, I'm impressed! Not many people would recognize that as a Lancia, and most of those who could identify it as a Lancia would guess that it's one of the Aurelia's by Viotti. But that is indeed an Aprilia Giardinetta by Frua, design by Ghia.

OK, Jeff got coachbuilder first, but you got the make model first, so goes to you. I'll find a "special" one for Jeff next time :)
PS 20' solve time sucked, I need to try harder. Away from library now, in clinic. You guys did well.

This one isn't really a "Guess the Car", it's just a bit of fun to show my friends here what I'm up to. I'm FINALLY putting my 1958 Fiat 600 Multipla together. I can't get far enough back from it to take a good picture. This will probably be one of the best, if not THE best, Multipla in the USA. My baby. I've had it for about 15 years, I think. Never wrecked. Never rusted.

It isn't a Maser T63/64? Weird shift knob BTW.
We had 61's, but I called a T63/64. If I was having a good day, I'd give you vin, but I'm in clinic.

Is Lee's last pictured vehicle (the "Jeep") a Fiat Campagnola?

There is a car open to be guessed. You have to guess it correctly to post one to guess. Sorry, but that's just how this thread works. The car open for guessing is the Jeep.

Hint: Tangential relation to DeSoto, Stirling Moss, independent suspension
