Sometimes...just sometimes we don't even need to see a side view to know that it was/is ours. The tail is all we need (cars are like women in that sense). Can't wait to see the beast in person Kuzi!
Yup, just a minor scuff by the dimple on the front passenger side on the skidplate. You can see it in the pic. That, and the car needs a new clear film installed. But otheriwse, she is pretty darn clean. >end threadjack<

no pics of the engine bay but some info http://www.simpsonmotorsport.com/default.asp?id=119&pid=70&name=Ferrari%20F40%20V12&page=Projects
Why would they "down grade" to a 550 V12? I assume the orginal V8 had a problem and this was cheaper to toss in, or they had to do it for some particualr racing class?
Let the rain fall as it may. I gotta be honest. The 288 GTO EVO has got to be one of the most "kit carrish" version of any Ferrari I've ever seen that ever left the factory. The nose, the arse. OMG... Jim Carpenter did a better rendition of his 308->288 conversions...
As a test bed, I think aesthetics were a secondary concern....Have to agree though, the front is just awful.
True, I don't think they cared at all how it looked. IMO, it's not bad, kinda "tuff" looking. But it sure is functional.
It doesn't look the prettiest in photos, but in real life it's very different......... A lot of cars are like that........
As Jas said. And yes I have not had the pleasure to see it in person so my views are likely tainted by the lens. I think it is the blunting effect I object to in the photos. Can't say it's any styling cues specifically other than that-and perhaps it is all the cues from lights to grill to markers that create the photo visual effect I refer to. But yes, it would fit in my garage without regret... ; )
