    we have a 1980 512BB.... & want to replace the seat covers. most companies list 1982 & up. are the seats in our 1980 the same as a 1982? we have tan w/ black inserts. also- any thoughts on what suppliers to use?

    RE-ORIGINALS would be my first choice. Im pretty sure the seat skins are all the same...as in they all came with full leather or cloth inserts. Some had black daytona inserts, some were seat colour. I would say a black insert BBi skin would be the same as an 80 but a 365BB is where the changes happen.

    I used GAHH in North Hollywood for my 328 materials - I'm sure they do Boxers as well.

    You might want to do all the beige leather at the same time, if you're concerned about everything matching.

    GAHH carpet is wrong that I know, the seats must be great though if you won your class.

    I kept the OEM - not sure about the GAHH carpets. The embossed cavallinos on the headrests are perfect, and the leather color was a great match to OEM.

    Do the Daytona inserts. Very nice.
    Contrasting color, Black, as the originals were.

    and jon, i do look forward to meetin this year. last year i did however meet your 328...a nice intro nonetheless!!

    really is one of the nicest 328's i have ever seen and the color is at the top of the heap for presence!!!
