It was sold to someone here in Florida and renamed "Floridian." I think it's currently for sale.

It just serves to remind us of how much disposable income there is floating around. Not to mention the upkeep.

I've toyed with the idea of a Sunseeker Predator in the 50-60' range, and maybe one day I'll commit. Although, every time I get close, I remember one of my comments to my ex-GF (whose family has one megayacht, one mid-size yacht and one small yacht): "If I ever contemplate buying a boat, punch me in the head."

Much earlier in this thread someone mentioned Reverie. I had other dealings with the owner that commissioned her and through that still have the original layout drawing.

He is a businessman in Oslo, a former boat captain, did off-shore racing for fun. Never a Ferrari man but he did go through some Lamborghinis. Reverie was sold not long after he had it; business empire got into trouble. The interior was very traditional.

I'm surprised somewhat that of the mega yachts being cited here there is not mention of the various works by Jon Banneburg. Many of the interiors were absolutely astounding and there were a few of the yachts done with huge floor-to-ceiling round windows for the salon area. Since this is a car crowwd how can anyone forget his work with the Austrailian yard Oceanfast that reprised the '59 Cadillac tailfin for the sides.

This beauty cruises at up to 55 knots.......a(fu....g)mazing !!!!!

she has a powerboat stance when moored or below planning speeds. an 8 ton bow tank balances her out to give her a yacht stance until planning.

oh, and did i mention carbon fiber infused hull ?

Which yacht passed by? What was formerly Reverie (240 feet or so Benetti) or the Oceanfast that was around 120 something feet.

From Balmer, are ye? Your city already has one of the most beautiful vessels afloat anywhere, the Revenue Cutter "Pride of Baltimore".
