    Thanks. It has the same bore & stroke as an FE side-oiler. Figure out how I did that!
    Working on the Cobra...I don't have a chassis yet, but that's the plan.

    LOVE IT! That car brings great memories of me cruising with my dad in his. His was that really dark purple that almost looked brown at certain angles.

    I just sold my 68 427 SO. I had picked it up with the plans of finding a car needing an engine, I decided it would be easier to find a car with an engine and sell if the 427 to someone in greater need

    Looks like you save a bunch of weight

    I haven't weighed the finished piece yet, but my estimate is about 350 lbs. The block is linerless with Nikasil cylinders, and weighs 86 lbs with the steel main caps.
